Your Inner Guidance
“The only real valuable thing is intuition.”
-Albert Einstein
When you begin to align yourself with who you really are, the challenge may be that you slip into what other people begin to think about you. This is dangerous. Most people like danger, that’s why they slip into making other people’s opinions on them overpower their own feeling.
I speak a lot in my blog about the empowerment of every individual. Now contrary to popular belief, this empowerment doesn’t come from the opinions of others. It comes from you being in tune and in alignment with your true self.
So for example, regardless if you are getting negative or positive feedback from your creative work, the point really is that all that doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is how you feel about what you have created. The journey of personal development is an inward journey. It really takes a lot of courage to continue to be yourself in the moment, and listen to your inner guidance. Going against the grain and the opinions of others is a lot more easier, the moment you develop a sense of awareness about you.
This sense of awareness only comes from experience and ironically going against the grain. You see the more you be you and take chances based on intuition, and see success in that process, you develop a stronger awareness of you. As you do this, you continue to trust your inner guidance, versus trying to fight it with the ego mind.
The ego mind comes in many forms. It tells you are better or worse than you really are. It tells you to worry about what others are saying about you. The ego likes to keep you limited and fearful.
But your spirit, or your inner guidance knows what is truth. Your spirit is so powerful that it doesn’t even have to fight the ego to flow into you, it’s just love. Your spirit is just there waiting for you to choose to operate from that space.
I personally get into certain times when I need to simply decide where is this information coming from? Is this my inner guidance, or is this the ego trying to creep in. I have found that life tends to become a lot more simple and clear when I make choices that stem from my inner guidance. I have in the past and probalby will continue to make descions based on ego wants, (I am a human being) however with my personal experience, and as I grow in my own persaonl development, I am gradually learning that inner guidance allows for a more clear and honest space for me to be in.
So in essence, although the spirit and the ego may look like they are battling one another on the surface, they really aren’t battling. The spirit knows this and has tremendous wisdom. It continues to guide you, it’s just up to you to choose if that’s what you are ready to operate from.
Until you begin to strengthen this self awareness within you, you will actually be at the mercy of others opinion and thus disempowering yourself from your environment, instead of empowering your environment.
It’s all a choice. Some have a harder time with this than others, but it does go back to following your own inner guidance.
Your inner guidance has the answers. I suggest, to not depend solely on the positive or negative opinions of others about you to be the determining factor of how in alignment you are with yourself. Instead, allow your spirit or your inner guidance to bring you more in alignment with you. As you allow this alignment with you to flow, you are coming from an empowering place. This empowering place allows you to create your reality as you choose. This space is where life gets awesome. ![]()

Baker-fabulous! Every stroke of your hammer hit the nail right on the head. Reading this was like reading my own thoughts, my own experience. “You can never have joy, you can only be it.” Perfect. Do you know this poem by Blake:
“He who binds to himself a joy
Does the winged destroy.
But he who kisses it as it flies
Lives in Eternity’s sunrise.”
Wonderful that at your age you already know this.
Hello nothingpround.
Thank you for the wonderful feedback, and the great poem by Blake. That poem resonates well with me. Peace and Blessings to you my friend.
