“But, They Just Don’t Get Me!” How To Simply Get Your Message Across When You are Ahead of Your Time: 5 Easy Steps
I admire you for taking the time out to read this blog post. I realize that you are one of the select few that actually care enough about your own personal development to read this. I applaud you. The following words will put you in utter awe of how easy it really is to just get your own message out, even if you feel like people “Don’t get it yet.”
I am 26 years old, and at times I understand that some of my ideas are ahead of their time. Yet, I manage to successfully get my ideas across clearly and directly in a manner that truly makes a difference in people’s lives. I easily do this by simply following the 5 valuable steps for myself. Being 26 years old, For some, my age may at times tend to get in the way of my messages on these posts. In other words, I get a lot of feedback from people that say “How are you so wise at your age?” “Is this really how you talk to other people your age?”
“Don’t you ever worry about being criticized?”
Well I just do me. Yet, I am sensitive to this fact, and I wanted to go ahead and let everyone know that I don’t plan on changing up my style anytime soon. However, the question remains…
“Is it hard for me to stay relevant with the majority of people my age with blog posts that speak of the higher self, positive energy, law of attraction, inner guidance, and the like?”
Yes. It is a challenge. But, I have to simply remind myself that this is my purpose at the time being and take away any of that stuff from the ego such as age etc. I live a very amazing life, I understand that we are all energy beings. What we choose to focus on expands. We draw into our lives the same stuff that we are feeling inside for ourselves.
Does it really matter what age I am as I write these pieces on personal development and spirituality? I mean if the message resonates and inspires people isn’t that really the point anyway?
Some may say I am ahead of my time as I write these articles. I would agree. But, it is not like I’m trying to be something else, other than what I feel the desire to be at the moment. So I felt the need to go ahead and explain this process for those that also feel somewhat ahead of their time with their messages. I understand that most people that read my blog posts are influential leaders in their own field and business.
I understand that some of the topics don’t make people that are stuck in mediocrity happy. My goal is not to make everyone happy. My goal is to spread my creative self expression in a form that inspires people that feel me, and can vibe with the expansiveness of my nature. I’ve been guilty of trying to play smaller around insecure people, just to make them feel comfortable. That didn’t work out to well. I’m pretty sure I’m done with that now.
Without really intending to do so, I feel as though my blogs have become a place of inspiration for people of influence and power. I have also found that the people that have a hard time understanding my messages are those that are followers of leaders. So in essence, these blogs have turned into “influencing the influencer.” I don’t take this responsibility lightly.
I am honored to be of inspiration to those that are an inspiration to many other of their followers as well.
Below are the 5 steps you can get your message across, if you feel like your ideas, philosphies are ahead of it’s time.
1. Be yourself
This goes without saying. Always be yourself. If there is something you like state it out loud. If there is something you don’t like state it out loud. There is no reason to fear you, being you. The most inspiration comes when others are sensing authenticity. The more you can simply be yourself, you begin to operate from a space that brings more harmony and ease into your daily life in the present moment. Be yourself, everyone else is taken. When you are just simply being yourself, it is much easier to get your message across, anywhere and anytime.
2. Don’t Compare
One of the things the ego loves to do is compare. The ego loves to compare my stats with your stats. With the new energy and shift in conscious awareness that is happening on this planet at the moment, the whole idea of comparing and competition simply won’t work anymore. We are moving into a shift from competition to collaboration. The more you compete in this new era the more you display lack and a scarcity mindset. The abundance mindset says there is always more than enough to go around, so collaborate as much as possible, the more you prosper the more others around you prosper. The abundance mindset doesn’t compare and is at peace with where he/she is, because there is always more than enough to go around for him/her and everyone around them.
3. Spend More Time Around Like Minds
The more time you spend with like minds the better you will feel. The reason is because like minds have the ability to build a confidence around the ideas you have always been feeling deep within. Keep your company with those of positive and good energy. As you stay connected with like minds, you will see that there are others just like yourself. This connection allows you to be more prepared to deal with negativity or naysayers once you truly get your own message out to the world.
4. Know Your Audience
Always know who you are speaking or writing to. The whole idea of saying what you want to say and not caring about what people say.” Is probably not the smartest thing to do. The best approach would be to find a niche that understands your message. It is up to you to take it from there. Know that even if people hate you or try to pull you down for your message, that all is well. You must continue to act in faith and stay true to you, regardless of how many people try to offend you in a negative way. Their negative feedback and hate is fuel for you to get stronger and better.
5. Follow Your Inner Guidance
Everyone has their very own inner guidance. The problem is that most people forget they even have one and just go along with what everyone else is doing. Listen to your inner guidance when making tough descions. It will always lead you to where you need to be. Most of the time your inner guidance will encourage you to spread your message to other’s, regardless of your own doubt and fears of appearing “too ahead of your time.”
Make It Happen
The bottom line here is this. We need people speaking their truth. As an indigo child, (A great example of a fellow Indigo Child is in a video HERE.) I work for light and positivity. I would like to read and hear the voices of the people that actually feel the shift that is taking place on the planet, instead of repressing it and hanging around others that simply don’t want to change in the direction of their hearts calling.
You just need to stay in a place of gratitude and positive energy so that we have the ability to spread the message of light to others that are struggling during this shift in consciousness. I believe that everyone can feel this shift in consciousness taking place at the moment. But, haven’t found a platform or way of expressing in words.
Many people are wondering why there are more earthquakes recently and why is the financial system going bust, it is all part of this shift in consciousness that is taking place. These so called “devastations’ need to take place so that humanity can wake up, go back within, and find out what really matters to them at an internal soul level.
The financial systems are going bust because people became to greedy and hungry for power. There are major changes that are happening on this planet at lightning speeds. Go within, allow your positive vibration fuel your own message in inspired action during this shift happening on this planet. You will get what you truly want out of life, if indeed you go with the flow of the universe and allow the new changes happening right now to flow in the direction that you intend for it to go in. You create your own reality with your thoughts and emotions.
If you feel like you are ahead of your time, with your own ideas I urge you to just go out and be bold about what you want to put out to the world. Keep on being persistent with your own message, don’t give into that lower negative energy that people are so comfortable in.
Be positive, confident, bold and live your life the way you choose in a manner that is consistent with that inner joy, and real success that changes the world. Deep down you really are a superstar. It’s just a matter of seeing this in yourself, and vibrating with that to get your message out. There is a very good chance people need to hear your voice, and have been thinking the exact same thing. From this you will find your soul being set free.

Very nice Baker! I like number 3 you mentioned. Spending time with people who are similar to us and positive is important. Also, an abundance mindset is important to have and not to compare ourselves with people. When people compare themselves, they usually compare themselves with people who are more successful, hence they end up feeling bad. Thanks for sharing

Wow Baker what a powerful and inspiring message. I think you are plenty old enough to have true wisdom. Many of us from the older generation had plenty of life experience, by the time we were your age. However, we lacked the knowledge that is available, to excel.
