“Things that matter most Must never be at the mercy of things that matter least”

-Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

I ran across this quote twice in one week. First, while checking on my twitter when someone quoted it on their Twitter update, and second by reading a book that had the exact quote. Which reminded me of the importance of following one’s passion.

It is reported now that more than half of Americans who do actually have a job in today’s economy, are dissatisfied with their job.

One of the reason that many people I feel today are dissatisfied with their job is because of a lack of guidance. Many people are continually doing stuff they despise because at the end of the day they failed to listen to their inner guidance. The key is to experiement with finding your passion. For example if you like music, why not learn how to play the guitar? If you like cooking why not take up a cooking class? The point here is that you have to be willing to experiment when finding your passion in life.

One of the remarkable discoveries I have found in my life, is that by just writing these blogs I find a great sense of passion exude from within me, as if I am feeding an inner sense of joy that lives inside of me every time I have the opportunity to just be in the moment and put my thoughts together on here.

I have found that when I focus my intent and energies on the things that matter most to me, such as creating value. I am not at the mercy of things that matter least, such as getting involved in activities such as idol gossip, abuse of substances, or excessive television watching (just a few examples).

Living YOUR passion means that you become the person that is at the steering wheel of your life. Although, I have helped many people so far realize that they create their own reality with their thoughts. There are still a few people still doubt the fact that when I tell them that, “They create their own reality.”

The people that generally have a hard time with this concept, I have found are simply those that are moving more in the direction of focusing on activities that matter least in their lives. Therefore this constant focus on what matters very little in their lives does indeed become at the mercy of what matters most.

If you are to truly become the creator of your reality and be in control of your life, you have to be open to the fact that the action steps you take are in alignment with what matters most in your life at that time. This comes from being and living YOUR passions in life.

Although, becoming an entrepreneur is not the only way to follow ones passions in life. Becoming an entrepreneur provides this amazing gateway that appeals to many of the people in my generation and the younger generation to achieving real freedom over time and money.

The idea of owning your own business, being your own boss, setting your own working hours, ability to travel, and doing what you love most has a tremendous upside, especially in today’s economy. I will have future posts by some truly amazing people that are living this lifestyle as successful online entrepreneurs in my future posts. So stay tuned.

Living your passion opens up so many doors for you. Regardless, of how much rejection, or set backs you face in the process, if you are doing what feels right for you with persistence, doors will open for you.
I understand this from my own personal experience.

When I first started writing this blog, I didn’t know where it could possibly lead me. The first 6 months of this blog had only anywhere from (0-2) readers to my blog daily. Yes, Only (zero-two) visitors to my blog each day for 6 months. When I received my first comment on my blog, (which was like one sentence long) I literally jumped out of my seat with joy and excitement. Initially 3 years ago, I started this blog as a hobby, and just somewhere to keep my thoughts positive and write about concepts and philosophies expressed in personal development books, and live personal development seminars that I enjoyed.

I never felt burdened by having to write a blog post, I just really enjoyed writing. It wasn’t like how you see most of these online bloggers starting today where they are writing a blog just because it has potential to make them a ton of money. That mindset and approach just always seemed too unauthentic to me.

I actually enjoy writing these posts. I have a clear message that I think I’m doing a very good job at currently to share with others, and this blog is growing gradually at a pace that is actually consistent with my own personal growth and life experiences.

Now, I have a good number of readers coming to my site daily, self published 2 books that were inspired out of this blog itself (which I will relaunch soon) and I have been approved by some companies to sponsor some ads on my blog that resonate well with my site. So all in all, just that passion for writing opened up doorways for me of opportunities to monetize. The success of this blog is consistent with my passion for self expression and creating value for others. I am happy and very grateful for this wonderful space and opportunity that I am currently involved in.

The goal really is to follow your passion, and run away with it. I can guarantee the opportunities will show up if you are consistently plugging away with your passion small steps daily.

You see, when someone is living from their passion in life, whatever it may be, they are creating their reality as they move along. The goal really is just to continue to put that focus back to the passion and less time spent on focus of what everything else around you is trying to make of you.

I will be real with you. The challenging part, is that sometimes you will tend to follow advice from very well meaning people such as parents, relatives, friends, teachers, or people in “perceived authority” and stray away from your real passion. This is a reality I see very common among many people.

There is good news though. The truth is, once you can get passed that stage, you will be set free to truly live YOUR passion, and not the passion that others try to impose on you.

Although, it can be a real struggle, from my own experience, the fight for yourClick Here!“> freedom is well worth it at the end of the day.

The point of attraction is only in the here and now. You can create your reality as you wish, if indeed you are living your passion. If you are not clear on what your passion is. Experiment over and again, and allow whatever feels like exciting to you, be the measure of what you “should” be doing. Be easy about this, and allow your inner guidance to guide you.

Believing in You,

    Hi John,
I don’t know, did you loose your passion for it at one point? I don’t see any real reason why you can’t get back in the ring, and do your thing again.
