A question that many people always ask is, if the law of attraction is “real.”
Well to that I say, yes indeed it is very real. The law of attraction matters.

But, what I have discovered for myself, is that the law of attraction is not just a “one time thing.” You don’t just wake up one morning and ask for something very big and it comes to you, that very same second, or even that very same day.
What people generally don’t fully grasp is that the law of attraction works as more of a process more than anything else.

If you are curious about what really happens when you start thinking positive & more about the law of attraction read my previous post about this Here.

When we desire bigger things in life, the reason that it takes awhile for it to manifest in real time, is because a lot of times vibrationally or energetically we aren’t a match to that big goal yet that we want. The truth is that patience does come into play here, if indeed one desires bigger things in life.
I was communicating to a very good friend of mine via email one month ago about what I wanted to do with my blog and the overall direction of the blog.

At the time, I was feeling this minor transition in my own personal life, and with the blog itself. I felt that there was a transition I had to make. He had mentioned to start hitting bigger brand names on the web, to get my message out on a bigger scale. So I agreed and realized that in order to do that I would have to step up my vibrational frequency and content creation, to match up and be up to par with bigger brands online.

So I put the intention out to the universe to attract bigger brand name blogs to collaborate with, that I know is very much up to speed and expanding in a very good direction for my blog as well.

So I started researching bigger blog brands out there. I ran across John Chow’s Blog-The Miscellaneous Ramblings of a Dot Com Mogul.

Now, regardless if you are an aspring online entrepreneur or already a successful online entrepreneur let me break it down for you. (Please not the following numbers are not typos or exaggerated claims). John Chow makes over 100k a month from the internet, with over 100k subscribers to his blog alone johnchow.com. Those statistics are pretty major.

So, it would be fair to say John Chow’s blog is relatively speaking a highly notable big name brand online for other aspiring online entrepreneurs to follow. So, I decided to send him a guest post. He has frequent guest posts on there, so I said it was worth a shot, Send him my guest post and leave it up to the universe.

2 weeks go by and I don’t get a single word back from him. The third week, I check my twitter updates and he tweets: New Blog Post @JohnChow – The Difficult Part About The Secret a.k.a “The Law of Attraction”
The Guest Post I submitted, fittingly was about my personal experience about the Law of Attraction. =)

Was this the Law of attraction in action? Yes.
One of the things that people will begin to understand with this whole process is that what they choose to focus on expands. If you are in the vibration of success, you attract this. It is just an energy thing.

One of the things people do when they first here about the law of attraction, is they try to set an intention and go about their business and when what they want doesn’t come right away, they give up and drop out of that initial vibration of the excitement and joy and feeling of actually having what they are asking for.

Since, they drop out of this vibrational frequency, they don’t manifest what they intended because, they were no longer a match (energetically) to what they were asking for.
Everything is energy. Your thoughts and actions produce this signal to the universe. I am not just saying this because it sounds like the cool thing to say, I live this in real life.

The point here is this, you have to first set the intention that is aligned with your values, do what brings you joy, detatch from the outcome and it will manifest at the time the universe wants it to come to you. Keep in mind this is a process. It is just about continually doing your thing, and letting go knowing that the universe has it all handled.

The law of attraction is a way of life. It isn’t something that is stressful, hard, or confusing. At the core it is very easy, natural, and flowing. Maybe what you are asking for doesn’t come, because you are not really ready for it. This is hard for people to accept, including myself.

But, we are all here on this journey of life attracting to ourselves that which we are a match to and which serves our highest good at the moment. Sometimes, we don’t get what we want, because there is a life lesson we need to learn first. But, we have to work through it and overcome these sometimes very challenging life obstacles. If things don’t go your way, just be patient and consciously focus your attention on what you already have in your life.

Focusing on being grateful for all that is already here in your life, opens you up to understanding how manifestation truly works. Be grateful and express joy for whatever it is you have in your life now, and the flowing energy opens up for you.

Allow yourself the opportunity to let go and just trust that what you are asking for is asking for you as well. Be easy about this, life is an adventure and we attract to us the energy that we give out. This truly is an exciting time to be alive, for with these concepts I describe here, one can truly begin to thrive in direction of their wildest dreams if they so choose.

The law of attraction is a way of life, because it is how things naturally flow, and not a “one time” thing.

In The flow,

  1. “attracting to ourselves that which we are a match to”, That’s a keeper. Although I’m an expert forgetter I’m going to hang on to it. It’s great when we find the right wording for an idea…Good job.

  5. Hey Baker. Another nice post on Law of Attraction. I like how you said it’s a process more than anything. For example, you submitted your guest post to John Chow and let the universe handle it. You didn’t complain or send other negative energy out, then one day you got that magical tweet (congrats by the way!). I see this as your process. Thanks for this article and when I do a Law of Attraction series, I’ll definitely know who to ask for an interview. :)

    Hey Hulbert,
Thank you for the great feedback as always. Yes, it really is a process that I’ve practiced and grasp at this point. Really like the creative series that you are putting on your blog. Yes, feel free to contact me if you need any law of attraction talk in the future.

  7. Glad I found your blog! Love your articles. The LOA is one subject that’s near and dear to me. I’ve been using it for years, but it doesn’t always “work” the way I want it to – which is – I want it NOW!

Your article is s great reminder that it’s a way of being, not something you “use” once in a while.

    Hi Maria,
It really is more of a journey and process, versus a one time thing. I think it really depends on the energy of the person, and their life’s purpose too. Sometimes we don’t get what we want because it isn’t really aligned with our true mission in life. Sometimes, we do attract it but it feels off. It really is about alignment with energy.

  9. Thank you. Nice submissions you got here. Have some more links to point to which have more info?

  12. Very good post about the law of attraction! I agree in what you are saying here! This post is one of a kind, which I am a law of attrcation student! I have learned that we must lean it to the universe in order for it to be brought to us!If we don’t we would end up being negative and full of worries, which stops the process of what we want to see come to past!
