3 Simple Tips To Increase Your Self Awareness

As I continue to grow and expand in my own self awareness, I want to give my readers a chance to apply some simple tips that continue to work very well for me with success in becoming more self aware.
Coming to a place of self awareness, and having that be your default state as you dance and move around the world, takes time and effort.
I can say from experience, that becoming more self aware, has tremendous benefits to your overall health and well being. Being self aware opens up a space for you to be more aligned with your talents and as you align with this, there is a deep sense of empowerment you feel about yoursel. You start to move around the world with a clarity, that feels amazing.
Coming to a place of self awareness, alows you to be you again, without the backlash of people’s opinions about you, or worries you may have had before. All that junk gets released, and you realize that stuff was so minor, in comparison to the amount and tremendous light within you.
Coming to a place of self awareness does require you to go within yourself. This is where your effort is needed. The ability to tune into your needs, and tune out the needs of the outside world is essential for becoming self aware.
When all the static noise of the outside world tries to drain you, remember that at your core being you have all the answers within you always.
On my own journey at the age of 26, and just my own personal experience thus far, I have found 3 simple steps that have worked for me with success, when choosing to access more self awareness my own life.
It really is just about taking very small steps daily that really make a difference in your own awareness of you.
The best part about working on your own self awareness, is that once you get the hang of it, you can have that place of awareness as your default state. This is a very nice place to be.
Below I have included 3 simple tips that I’ve used on my own personal development journey that have successfully worked for me in my own life.
You can take a couple of these, or all of them for yourself and see if that guides you as well, with success in increasing your own self awareness.
3 Simple Tips To Increase Your Self Awareness
1. Meditate.
Silencing the mind each day, preferably at the very start of each day will increase your self awareness. Even before the day begins, just sit and focus on your breathing and be in the moment. Meditation really sets a nice even tone to the rest of the day. I have found that meditation grounds me, and this really helps out with my creativity. Meditation can bring you to a very clear and open space with your spirit that brings you to a place of self awareness.
2. Listen To Your Body.
As a very physical type of person, I know for me it is easy to sometimes get lost in not paying attention to what my body needs. I have learned the hard way many times. I’m learning from it.
The reality is that your body is always trying to tell you if you are pushing to hard and stressing out for no reason. Pay close attention to these signs that your body is trying to tell you. As you pay attention to them you get into your own flow of balancing both work and play with success.
3. Read Books.
I am a big fan of books. Last year, I began reading a lot more eBooks than the physical hard-copy books. But nonetheless, I love reading books. Reading books is such a great way to become more self aware, because as you read the words of any book, you get to tap into the mind state of the author. There is a good chance that the author as they wrote that book you were reading was in a very clear and self aware place in their life. So as you read into it, you see yourself becoming even more self aware in the process, as the connection is being made from your mind and the authors mind. I recommend books on Personal development, and self help to increase self awareness.
I hope these tips are a good guide for you as you are on your own journey to increase your self awareness. Keep in mind this is a process, and be easy and patient with yourself, just be willing to go within.
