I am Success

How I Make Money Online

(Numbers and Stats are current as of: Dec. 2, 2010)

I hardly ever go into how I make money online. One of the reasons has been because of the fact that I was under the wrong assumption that once I made a really significant amount consistently, then at that point, I would be in a better position to show my readers what has worked for me and what hasn’t on my journey to a full time passive online income business.

However, I decided that since this blog is very “journey-like” in nature, I might as well keep you up to speed with where I’ve made money online so far on this journey so far (Dec. 2010). My humble beginnings online can be used as a tool to inspire people that have a calling to start gradually building a real online income as well, if they are interested and are willing to be in the time and effort.

To date, I am gradually seeing success on this end, as a result of perseverance, doing what I love (writing/creative self expression), applying the law of attraction in real life, and staying in alignment with my vision of inspiring and empowering countless individuals into living their dreams from the inside-out.

How I Make Money Online

1. Ehow: ehow.com is a site I wrote for starting in 2008. To date I’ve written over 200 articles. The nice part about ehow is that they still pay me money, even though I’m not writing for them anymore. This type of income is a good example of passive income. Ehow no longer excepts written articles. Ehow has transferred over to Demand Studios. So if you want to write for them check out demandstudios.com. I’ve heard people get paid $15 an article roughly. Also keep in mind, there are strict requirements to join them.

Ehow currently pays me $30.00-$40.00 of passive income each month. This is really nice income considering, I don’t write articles anymore, as the articles I’ve written are still circulating in the internet, and paying me passive income to my Paypal Account.

2. Selling Text Links. I never intentionally tried selling text links. But, I was offered several months ago $100 to post 2 links back over to another site, for an article I wrote on my blog back in 2008. The coincidental part is that the blog I wrote was called, Why doing what you love doesn’t pay you right away. After I posted the two links over to the other website, on my blog post, I was $100 sent directly to my PayPal account.

3. Affiliate Marketing: I have ads on the side of this blog that make me money. I have banners and ads to products or events that I support and that have been useful and inspirational for me personally. I get a commission off the price of the actual product purchased through my blog. I recently received $40.00 from a sale that was made from my blog, sent directly to my PayPal account.

4. My E-book: I am also relaunching my ebook, which should do well, considering the fact that I put my heart into the ebook, and when it does, I get paid $20 for each book sold. I paid for a designer to make the cover and sales page. I paid a total of $200 for it. My ebook was written on as a regular word document on my laptop, saved as a PDF file and is ready to go for sale. So after I make back my $200 spent on creating the ebook, I profit $20 after every sale of the ebook. My online transactions for all sales of my Ebook are processed through a site called clickbank.com.

4. Google adsense. I’ve made some money on adsense, but nothing very significant for amount of time I’ve had the adsense on my blog. I am considering taking it out completely, as adsense may be extinct revenue at this point.

4. Specific Niche E-books/products: Since I have a wide range of knowledge on many things regarding metaphysics. Some of the niches I will expand to in the near future are topics regarding astrology, feng shui, and crystals. These specific niches that I will sell ebooks through will be separate from bakerthebrand.com. This will do very well. For the specific niche sites I will be using and implementing systems included in a site called Niche Profit Classroom Click Here To Learn About Niche Marketing And How You Can Build A Profitable Business In 30 Days Or Less

A Few Other Notes

So this is pretty much how I make money online so far. The best part about making money online, is that I’ve set up the system so that the income I make is automated passive income. All I really have to do is post valuable content, network with big names like myself online, and the site traffic grows, and I make money.

The process sounds overly simplistic. But, the truth is it is. This is the beauty of the internet, automation, networking, doing what you love, and most importantly providing great content.

Personal Branding

Another thing I want to mention is the importance of being your own personal brand online. Building a personal brand is not for everybody. But, I have discovered that my personality naturally blends very well with being a personal brand online. I suggest experimenting with the idea of being a personal brand online and see if it works out and fits you. I’ve built this brand up to a point where people are gradually coming to me with offers, because I’ve gradually built value and brand equity in the blogsphere. Therefore from this position I’m not chasing after deals, the deals are coming to me. This is the ideal place to be online.

I like the idea of making passive income too. That’s the beauty of the internet. We just need to put our effort once, do it well and then, earn residual income thereafter. Thanks for sharing!!

    Hi Evelyn
Yes, in this post I wanted to share with the readers that passive income is doable. Starting small in the begining but with enough perserverence, bigger results come overtime. Thank you for stopping by!

  3. I have to agree with you and I like the idea of passionate income! I agree with you on that one at what you spoke in the begginning of your blog! People will get the wrong assumption, it’s a reason why i don’t disclose how much I make online, or start talking about making money online! Thanks for posting!

Yeah there’s a lot to learn. But, luckily there are sites that I recomend on this post like nicheprofitclassroom.com that teach it very slowly and easy to understand and apply, if person is serious about making passive income for a living, if that’s their goal. Cheers! Thank you for your feedback.

    Yes Jana
I agree. It just takes that effort once, and the rest is history! Passive income is a lot more yummy than “earned income” where you get paid at a regular “job” in my opinion.
