The Power of Persuasion

The Power of Persuasion – A Powerful Tool at Your Disposal

There’s nothing more powerful than the power of persuasion. Have you ever heard the expression of mind over matter? If you have ever strive to make a higher income, ask your co-worker on a date with confidence you only dream of, buy that three story house or finally lose that extra weight you have struggled with, there is hope. Actually, it’s more than hope. It’s about utilizing a gift that you already possess but fail to use to your advantage – until now.

The power of persuasion is commonly referred to as mind control and it starts with being able to trust and connect with your own inner knowledge and wisdom. Did you know that the average person only uses 10% of their brain’s power? Many people suffer with memory difficulties, and this can cause conflict especially when it comes to taking tests, achieving everything you need to do in a given day or just remembering where you put your keys. If we want to lose weight but feel like we just don’t have the will power (really, it’s mind power) to accomplish this daunting task, being able to utilize the power of our mind could help tremendously. Here are some tricks to improve the power of your mind and in the process will allow you to achieve everything you want from life.

The power you have within yourself is overwhelming. It’s so overwhelming in fact that most of us can’t even grasp what we are truly able to achieve and accomplish given some useful tips to transform our thinking and memory. If you want to attract your soul mate, there are many things you can do to have them not only notice you for the first time and with an infatuation you can only imagine.

It’s important to remember that learning tricks to attract others is not tricky in the sense that it is manipulative. You are simply creating a new vibe and energy for yourself that invites others to notice you as they haven’t before. Did you know that everyone sends out a particular energy whether you are conscious or it or not? If we are in a bad mood or good mood, we send out those vibes and those around you – co-workers, friends and family members will immediately pick up on it. If you want to attract a loving and exciting partner into your life, begin visualizing the kind of partner you need to make you happy.

Take a few minutes each day and imagine every tiny detail that you can about how you wish this person to be. Think about how you feel in their presence. Are you laughing together? Are you vacationing on the beach or dancing in the moonlight together? Are you enjoying having dinner with your partner and feeling good about yourself? Is a loving and supportive relationship important with the same mutual goals or are you looking for a spontaneous relationship that constantly changes over time?

When we visualize, we teach our mind to receive strong messages of what we want our life to be. Whether you can devote five minutes a day or twenty minutes a week to visualization, it’s important to imagine and believe life as you want it to be, whether it is for the ideal partner, being the ideal weight or finally being able to purchase that house of your dreams. It’s also important to relax your mind and body as much as possible. Mind power requires concentration to achieve what you want, and it’s much easier to do that when your mind can be free of your own chatter and negative thinking.

Have you ever tried to sit down to concentrate on one task and your mind keeps wandering? Many of us have problems siting still without thinking about the bills we have to pay, the tasks we neglected to finish, how many days until your summer vacation or how well you thought you did in your job interview. It’s hard to focus on one thing at a time which is where meditation can be incredibly useful.

Begin to train your mind by devoting five to ten minutes of uninterrupted time each day. Whether that comes in the morning or evening doesn’t matter so much as the time itself where you can be free of distractions and obligations. Some people find this time to be during their lunch break, first thing in the morning or right before they go to bed. Sit in a comfortable position, either with your legs crossed or by lying flat on your back. Breathe in and out slowly and it can help to count to five as you inhale and exhale. If you are feeling a large amount of stress, it can help to repeat a feeling that you would like to emulate such as calm, peace, joy or love. Repeating these types of words can really help train your mind to experience the feeling themselves.

If you feel like your poor memory retention is keeping you behind in your schoolwork or preventing you from impressing your boss, you may be right. Most of us don’t stay in the moment when we meet someone new which is why we fail to remember their name just a minute after they have told us. If you care about improving your memory and want to impress your colleagues at your next big work function, consider using a simple concentration trick and amaze everyone around you.

Practice memorizing small but significant details about everyone around you, such as your co-workers that sit near your desk at work. When you get to the office, memorize a small fact about each co-worker such as what they ate for lunch by writing it on a piece of paper. At the end of the day, quiz yourself and compare the results. How accurate were you? Did you get 10%, 50% or 90% right? Don’t give up if you have some progress to make. Keep practicing and your memory will improve.
