Listen To Your Inner Voice

Do you listen to your inner voice? Did you hear your inner voice today? How much of your time spent today was spent in action mode that went against your own inner voice? If you are reading this in the morning, how much of your time was spent not listening to your inner voice yesterday? It wasn’t easy for me to learn how to listen to my inner voice. It took  trust. As you begin to listen to your inner voice you start to see you need trust.

Listen To Your Inner Voice

So how do you listen to your inner voice? Listening to your inner voice takes practice. It is not entirely the easiest thing to do, especially when you have been programing your mind in a linear and very logical fashion all your life.

Have you you ever seen kids at play or observe them wanting to go outside and play with excitement the actions they are wanting to take part in is them actually listening to their inner voice.

That inner voice is something everyone has. Some people can access it easier than others. It is like a muscle, the more you work at accessing it the stronger and more clear it becomes. Listen to your inner voice it brings positive change.

Listen To Your Inner Voice Through Clarity

Many people complain that their life feels out of balanced. In their honest attempts to make life seem normal and somewhat exciting, they continue on this treadmill of life, ignoring the inner voice and continually trying to match up to what is expected from them, either by society, media, news, or well meaning parents.

This is not a wrong way of living. It is just a different way.

Honoring your inner voice is a commitment. It takes time and much soul searching to get that quiet and just listen.

Others will expect you to conform to the way things were, and have been. But by listening to the inner voice, you know better.

You will notice that honoring your inner voice will allow you to become more present. You will see and feel your present moment realities begin to change in a more flowing, relaxed, and enjoyable space.

As you drive your car, wash the dishes, work on projects, go for a walk, honor that inner voice, it almost always telling you to simply trust the flow of life. Listen to your inner voice. As you listen to your inner voice your life begins to change.

Listen To Your Inner Voice The Positive Changes Externally

As you begin to honor that voice, your actions stem from a place of purity. The purity in your actions creates an authenticity and you begin to feel an inner peace that comes from within you and it express itself outward. Your external reality changes in a positive way, because you have stayed true to that inner calling. Positive changes externally happen when you listen to your inner voice.

People sometimes wonder why I continue to do what I love to do, and still thrive in life. Honestly, I don’t do anything completely different than other people. The short answer is I just tell them I’m just being me.

Yet, at a deeper level it is also because my actions are pure. The pureness of my actions come because I am tuning into the best parts of me that are internal. What people see on the external is successful, beautiful, and glowing because I am owning my inner space. Listen to your inner voice.

Example

Honoring my inner voice has always led me to a space of certainty and successful resolution. For example, this may have meant that I had to turn people down requests that I no longer felt a match to vibrationally. I learned that has nothing to do with not trusting others, but learning to trust myself more. When you listen to your inner voice your world changes for the better.

Honoring your provides a space for you to operate more clearly on your chosen path. Trust that pure guidance it is designed to serve you. Are you going to listen to your inner voice?

Are you honoring your inner voice? Listen to your inner voice.

Well put. I need to practice listening to my inner voice more. I think I’m out of practice so it gets kind of jumbled. I think my ego gets in the way as well which isn’t helpful.

    Hello Anne,
Yes, that is usually the case the, ego tries to block the inner voice. I have found meditation to be very helpful in accessing my inner voice a lot more clearly.

  3. Hello Baker,

I’m on the path of learning to listen to my inner voice, but it is not always so clear as you describe it. It requires a lot of exercise before it is clear enough to distinguish it from all the other voices in my head.

I wonder how do you distinguish your inner voice with all other voices in your head?

Usually what I have found is that there are two things at work. When making a decision.
    1. The voice of the ego.
    2. The voice of intuition.

    When making a decision…
    1. The Ego voices are from a place of fear, lack, obligation, or something you “should” be doing
    2. The Intuition voice is more flowing, accepting, natural, and feels more “whole.”

    Hope that makes sense.

  8. Hey Baker,
It seems that many of us go through our do being busy and not taking the time to go within and listen to the wise inner voice.

I try to take at least 5 minutes a day several times a day to just stop and listen inside.

I have been listening to it for quite a time now. I always find time to be in silence and reflect my life, and I do that daily, before I go to work. Listening to my inner voice keeps me grounded on my feet.
