Peace
“Our peace shall stand as firm as rocky mountains.”
-William Shakespeare
Peace
How many times during a day do you spend outside of the present moment?
When you are not in the present moment where are you? Where are your thoughts? Are your thoughts stuck in the past? Maybe your thoughts are stuck in the future?
Peace is found in the present moment. There is nowhere else these feelings of peace can take place.
Real Time Examples of Peace
For example, When you are engaged in a very peaceful conversation with someone. Notice how present the two of you are.
When you are doing simple tasks as washing your dishes, taking a shower, reading a book, or enjoying a meal. How present are you in those activities?
This state of peace that I continue to enter in my own life, has a lot to do with my ability to access my higher self at any time I choose…Simply by use of meditation. Living from my higher self has open up windows to very peaceful experiences, and continues to do so very nicely on my beautiful, positive, and successful path.
Peace Comes From Within.
True peace is a reflection of how engaged you are in the present moment. This peace usually comes in very simple activities as I mentioned above.
Peace comes when you are fully present. When you are aware of “what is” and accept it fully, you will find this peace.
3 Tips To Peace
1. Meditation
Daily practice at the start of each day with practicing mediation opens up the doors of life and doors of peace to enter your life.
2. The Present Moment
Notice when your thoughts drift to either the past or the future, catch yourself take a deep breath in and and deep breath out. Come back and ground yourself back into the present moment. The most reassuring thing in the world is knowing is you can always come back to awareness of your own breathing.
3. Be Peace.
Lastly, the only way to truly access this state of peace is to BECOME Peace. This means that in your daily activities exude this peace. Whatever you are doing, whoever you are connecting with, be that model of peace for yourself within, and it will reflect outwards. Be the peace you wish to see in the world.

@Anne I agree with you. Peace comes within, and alone you cannot create peace, but you can at least start with peace.. Thanks for this lovely post Baker.

You are welcome Reena. =)
I couldn’t agree more with this article.
It reminds me of what I’ve read about love. Love is a natural aspect of who we are when we’re fully present. And like you mentioned in #3, at higher levels of consciousness we don’t just “love” someone – instead we ARE love.
It’s almost hard to do this stuff because it’s really so simple. Want to be happy? Become present!
Great article.

Hey Baker,
When I work alone I tend to drift in and out of present awareness. Sometimes a simple conversation with another helps me to get back into the present moment.
