Being told you “will be taking a trip in the near future” is quite vague, and chances are you are going somewhere within the next year; likewise if “you know someone that is ill”, because chances are, you do. But if a psychic is able to pinpoint specific information pertaining to your life there is a greater chance he or she is legit. The more specific they are as far as giving names, and knowing more about your current situation without you giving them information prior is a real psychic.
A genuine psychic doesn’t just tell you what you want to hear. Nothing but good news and sunshine, impossible promises, and false hope is the work of a charlatan.
Also beware of any psychic that preys on the grieving, lonely or desperate. If you can hear them rubbing their palms together in anticipation of how much money they can bilk out of the poor widow before them, they are one of many so-called-psychics that are in it from a business perspective and only wanting to make a profit.
