Baker’s Insight on The New Economy: Why The Rich Are Getting Richer

Until very recently, the middle class lived by certain set of unspoken rules. But, by the middle of 2007, all that changed. The United States, and most of the civilized world, slid into the a very deep recession. Today, the economy is still not improving. What we know for sure is that things are changing, and they are changing unlike anything we have ever seen, statistically since the Great Depression.
Indeed, for some this maybe a scary and uncertain time, filled with struggle and uncertainty. Thoughts of worry begin to unfold in people’s minds. People start developing an unhealthy scarcity consciousness, that plagues people like an illness that can’t be cured. Or can it? Yet, Despite all the turmoil in the economy that is happening. For the select few that understand the rules of the new economy will thrive financially even further ahead than any other time in their lifetime during this new economy. The new economy is allowing the rich to get richer.
Living In The Old Economy or New Economy?
We’re now living and working in a new economy. This new economy is poses an economy much different from the old economy, which was characterized by “certain rules”
The Old Economy
1. A good education leads to a good job and a satisfying lifestyle.
2. Work hard and your income will increase.
3. Each generation will outperform the last generation and build on their successes.
4. Stay loyal to your company and it will stay loyal to you.
5. Go to work until you are 65 and retire happy the government will take care of you.
The New economy is shattering these cherished beliefs and revising the rules we’ve held dear for decades. We are now living under a new set of rules.
The New Economy
1. Forge loyalty, its’ every man for himself.
2. There is no such thing as a safe job.
3. A good education will cripple you with student loan debt and it’s no guarantee you’ll get a good job.
4. Work hard and you may get to keep your job.-bud don’t expect a pay raise.
5, Building passive income streams via starting high tech start-ups, and making money online.
6. Working from home, and building an income to support your family, and spend more quality time with family.
Why The Rich Get Richer (Baker’s Spiritual Perspective)
Financial Collapse. Historic lows in job losses. Occupy Wall Street. Large amounts of debt.
Yet, the rich get richer. Why is that happening logically?
Logically the rich are playing by the rules and have been playing by the rules of the new economy as explained above. The poor are operation form the old economy. The rich are creating new systems. Once a new system for earning more money is working, they can easily duplicate it and get even richer.
The new economy will present something totally revolutionary in the idea that to be “rich” isn’t about how much money you are making.
One must factor the idea of “time” into the equation. So a more accurate model is, that it would be the rich in the new economy, have the money and the time freedom to enjoy it. Wealth in the new economy will be found in:
Increased Income + Time Freedom.
I thought this was a Spiritual Blog ?
Since, the core of this blog is indeed spiritual. I have to get deeper into the real reasons the rich are getting richer.
So From a spiritual perspective why is this happening? From a spiritual perspective why are the rich getting richer?
Well, like everything else in life you attract to you whatever energy signal you are giving of. You see the law of attraction is a universal law.
The law of attraction doesn’t discriminate. It just works on energy. Like attracts like. What you focus on expands. In this topic of why the rich get richer, it is simply a matter of energy and physics. Rich people get richer because they focus their mind and energy on different things than what poor people focus on.
Spirituality also, it means that people are tuning back to what really matters, valuable family time, holistic health, following ones passion, building strong community, caring for one another, collaborating and not competing.
This is what it means to be truly rich in the new economy. To be grateful where you are, and to always evolve and grow. Spiritually this is a great time to evolve, because people that are out of work and finding more heart centered ways to make a great income are stepping up to the forefront. Sure, the money is great. Yet, the deeper riches are the riches of the heart. The truth is that when you do occupy yourself with joyful pursuits, the energy involved elevates you like a bird catching a thermal updraft.
What we are starting to see and will continue to see are conscious entrepreneurs with more time and more money because they are creating from their passion. There really is nothing to lose. The new economy presents a wonderful prosperous time for what I call the conscious entrepreneur. The conscious entrepreneur is the person that is paving the new way business are operated.
The Case for Entrepreneurship: Advancement in The New Economy
A recent survey found that most U.S voters view entrepreneurship as the number 1 key to fixing the current economic collapse. A U.S Federal Reserve survey shows that the average household net worth for entrepreneurs is about 5 times that of regular employees.
Basically, this means that if you are n entrepreneurs you are 5 times more than likely to come out of this downturn unscathed and actually even stronger than before, because you have created your own strong economy.
There is nothing wrong with being an employee. I am just saying that I believe that we need more conscious entrepreneurs that are leaders in the new economy. So we all can change the way old business was done, into a new more sustainable and highly conscious manner that benefits humanity, at the same time providing you with the income that suits all of your needs and beyond.
It begins and ends with the law of abundance. It really is a way of thinking and “being.” So why are the rich getting richer? Well there is a new economy and they are using the new rules to their advantage. People in the new economy, and people that are moving towards it using their minds to elevate, learn, and grow their financial success. The rich are getting richer because it is “knowledge” and the application of that knowledge that is the new money for this new economy.
The new economy is forcing Americans to resist their belief systems. No longer can people count on employers to provide a steady and dependable source of income.
The players remain the same, but the game has changed. We are now required to adapt to new rules, demanding new thinking, not only about how we will decide on how to earn a living, but also help pay the debt accumulated from using credit cards to pay for bare necessities due to job loss. What people will begin seeing in the new economy is an accelerated state of consciousness of how businesses are run and operated. There is more of a collaborative and uniquely creative element to business that will take new entrepreneurs that actually really care about their customers to higher levels of advancement that they never dreamed possible before.
More importantly we are now called from a spiritual, level to follow our passions, and make a positive impact on humanity.
The rich are getting richer, because of the richness of their heart. Welcome to the new economy.

I agree. One of the reasons I think Conscious Entrepreneurs are starting to come out more and more. I do see a completely different western society in the near future, as there are many changes at the internal level happening among the humans.
