Hello Chuck, thank you for being the special guest interview on my blog. I decided to have you featured on my blog, because I am in the process of my own personal and spiritual development, and I came across your name through a referral that is actually assisting me on the development of this site. I’ve always been quite interested in the paranormal, even as a child. I did read up on your interesting story, about you being a psychic medium, but not just any kind of psychic medium, but one that helps out with investigating unsolved cases as a “psychic cop.” I was intrigued by your story and the type of work that you do.
Chuck: It’s a pleasure to share my development stages with you Baker!
1. Baker: Can you please tell the readers about your background, and how you got started in your type of work?
Chuck: My grandmother an my mother were mediums. They never helped me with the process instead kept it a secret. When I would experience unexplainable things as a child my mother was very good at redirecting the topic to one of little interest. I wanted answers!! When I was around thirty I started knowing when people would die. I would be riding around in a police car and I would know when a friend or relative would cross over. I would usually get a message along with the vision. These were easy to later confirm.
2. Baker: Now, can an individual develop psychic abilities or is this something one needs to be born with?
Chuck: I believe that everyone has psychic abilities. I have observed people that have joined meditation groups with the expectation of seeing or hearing Spirit. Some connect on the first try and some would take up to a year to connect. The good news is that once the connection is made development can be very rapid IF you continue to study!
3. Baker: I would assume that there are probably skeptics that you come across, because I would say to the majority of people are not very familiar with the paranormal/psychic world. How do you deal with the skeptics and still get the job done so well and with stunning accuracy?
Chuck: Great question! Watching a child eat an ice cream cone is boring because all kids can do that. If everyone could connect with the other side and every message was faultless, mediumship would be equally boring. Converting a non-believer into a believer is not always possible but when it happens, we have one more spiritual person on our side! The best way to convince a non-believer that this is real is to give validations that are specific unique. If I feel negative energy around a skeptical person, I don’t attempt to read them because they will look for an excuse to put a pessimistic spin on anything you say.
4. Baker: Describe to me some of the feelings you get personally, after you have accurately solved a mystery case, that probably wouldn’t have been solved normally with what detectives are given, with by only using their everyday normal 5 senses? I mean there is a lot of emotions I’m sure you deal with in a particular case, as far as family members, victims, murderers etc.
Chuck: For me it is all about receiving the information accurately. I would never want to point the finger at the wrong person or discredit the victim in any way. Many times I have to give painful but true information to the family. It’s been a year since the show Psychic Search, Psychic Cop was filmed. My sister and I sat with the family yesterday and we talked about this topic. When we were leaving I stated that their son Terry had been betrayed and I was privileged enough to become his voice and speak the truth for him…
5. Baker: You have a show coming out on the Biography Channel, can you give the readers a little more information on when it airs, and a little preview of what to expect on the show?
Chuck: The show “Psychic Search” was created to showcase people that claim to have special abilities. I was selected to demonstrate my unique ability of communicating with our loved ones on the other side. Having a police background added credibility to my claim. I was assigned to help a family that knew their 30 year old son was murdered however the police would only list him as missing. My task was to establish that he was or was not on the other side. I knew that morning that he was murdered. We worked with two detectives that were non-believers and by the end of the show conceited that I had correctly spelled out his murder hypothesis and that their beliefs in the case matched my conclusion. They worked on the case 6 years, I worked on it 5 days!
6. Baker: That’s really interesting, I normally don’t watch T.V at all, but I’ll definitely have to check out the show because the story line sounds very intriguing. The fact that you were a regular cop first, and then turned psychic, now blending the two together is pretty remarkable. Chuck, I want to thank you once again for being a part of this blog interview. Check out dates and time for the show “Psychic Search” featured on The Biography Channel HERE. I appreciate the work that you do, and I wish you much continued success with your work!
Chuck: Meeting you on the phone was a true pleasure. I wish that I had your knowledge when I was your age! Enjoy the holidays!!! Chuck…
Baker: Thank you for your kind words. Happy Holidays to you as well!!!

This post really resonated with me. I’m currently reading a book called “Extraordinary Knowing” By Elizabeth Lloyd Mayer, Ph.D
It talks a lot about extra sensory projection and reading your post reminded me of a part when there was this guy who could find lost things in other states just by talking to the person on the phone. It was quite interesting. I love to learn about things like this.
Thank you for the post Baker.

Do you plan on any more interviews with Baker? I would like to know how the connection is made. I would also like to know what exactly a meditation group is,and how one would study. The reason I’m asking is, I am somewhat tormented ( I guess you could say),over the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. I have two little girls, one Madeleine’s age . This story of her disappearance has left me unsettled.
@Marie Thank you for your feedback. I would suggest going to your local Yoga place. Some offer it for free, but you can run a google search for yoga or meditation groups in your area. I hope this helps.
@Kevin, Oh that book sounds interesting. I am learning more about these topics as well. Elevating my mind and sharing it with others is a pretty fascinating experience.
