Opportunity or Obligation What Is Driving You?

color31 300x224 Opportunity or Obligation What Is Driving You?

The Road Not Taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I–
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference

-Robert Frost

When I was living in California, I used to act out of obligation. It seemed like 80% of the action I took I was obligated to do for others.
I managed to still do things for myself that I felt were driven by opportunity, but for the most part 6 months ago I was being driven by a sense of obligation. This sense of obligation was brought about by my needing to fill an expectation of family and society. This made life feel very out of balance for me.

Ever since I moved out here to Arizona, I’ve been feeling a sense of being driven by opportunity. I don’t necessarily feel the need to force myself to do things I choose not to do. However, with this sense of opportunity I have a lot more responsibility for my own thoughts and actions.
This has led me to the law of attraction. Although, many of you reading this now are very familiar with this universal law. You and I have to be sensitive to the fact that 90% of the population aren’t aware of this universal law.

Furthermore, those that are aware of it are not really applying these laws to their benefit. So, if you are a person that is applying the law of attraction regularly, you are actually in a very small club. You are the leaders of this new era. This club makes up for a very tiny percent of people in the world. Activities like creating your vision board, Saying affirmations daily, and creative visualization are some of the basic tools that you can use with the law of attraction.

The Law of Attraction

What I’ve seen in my personal life and from studying high achievers in life is that in order to be driven with a sense of opportunity, one must apply the law of attraction regularly.

The reason for this is because to be driven with a sense of opportunity, there is a chance you may or not “make it.” There is a chance of either success or failure. But to apply the laws of attraction into this, you have a better shot at making it. It takes a lot of trust in yourself, to really be consciously living the law of attraction.

You see, being driven by obligation puts you at the effect rather the cause of your situation. You become the victim in the circumstance instead of the victor. So to ask somebody who has chosen to be obligated to so many things that aren’t true for his/her life path to begin applying the law of attraction in their life wouldn’t make any sense. It doesn’t make any sense to apply the tools that are associated with the law of attraction because the person that is very obligated to the wants and needs of others, society, or their boss is used to the idea of someone else choosing their dream for them.

Granted, I am sensitive to the fact that there steps involved. You may need to be obligated to do certain things on a regular basis to make ends meet. I am not saying don’t do what you need to get done. My point is just, recognizing and being aware of your own timing. Know that although obligation rules the day, if an opportunity comes around and you get this sudden urge to chase a dream you’ve been thinking about many times, it is up to you to decide whether or not to go forward with that feeling.

Expanding In Your Own Personal Development

I can tell you that from my experience, going with that gut feeling is probably the best thing you can do for yourself. This is because it opens you up to a new world of opportunity and from this new state of mind, you begin to have the opportunity to move forward with your true life’s purpose and experience more fulfillment in your daily life. Going with this hunch, or gut feeling is when you really start to understand what it means to grow in your personal development.

It gets very difficult to expand in your personal development when you are taking most of your actions based on obligation. The reason is because, if most of your time is being spent out of a sense of obligation, there are more chances for you to get stuck in a rut, because let’s be honest there is no fun or enjoyment that comes from doing daily tasks that are not aligned with your life’s purpose.

Obligation delays Your Dream
Being partly driven by obligation may delay your dream. However, being soely driven by a sense of obligation your dream goes down the drain. From my observation of highly successful people, many people who have lost this dream may have lost it because somebody else, a well meaning parent, or perhaps their boss chose their dream for them. The truth is if you aren’t living your dream, you are living someone else’s dream.
You are a part of their vision, instead of you creating your own vision.

You see, the moment you say “yes” to an activity that is not part of your life’s purpose, or doesn’t bring you joy, there is a great chance you are taking action by obligation. On the flip side, if you say “yes” to an activity that is in alignment with your life’s purpose and brings you joy, you are usually taking action out of opportunity.

Many people that I see have a lot of potential to do very great things, aren’t consciously making the decision to be moved by a sense of opportunity.
The reason?
There are several reasons but it really is rooted in fear. The chance that you won’t make it, is a bigger fear than staying safe and conforming to what society tells you to be obligated by.
Therefore it is fear, that keeps people being driven and taking action from a place of opportunity.

Opportunity or obligation, what is driving you?

The Danger of Striving For The Traditional Model of “Success.”

su The Danger of Striving For The Traditional Model of Success.

nature1 300x300 The Danger of Striving For The Traditional Model of Success.

“Success is nearest to those whose efforts are intense and sincere.”
-Patanjali, the founding father of yoga

Hello all.

There are real dangers for striving for the traditional model of “success.”
You may find in your own personal development that external factors such as, society, well meaning parents, and others people you encounter, may want you to follow in the old traditional views of “success.” It seems very safe and nice knowing that you are striving for something that others would seem to be the “right” move.
The truth is that there is a danger the moment you begin doing things that others want from you, that aren’t in fact direct alignment with who you know yourself to really be.

Where The Danger Comes In
The danger comes because the traditional model of success is very limited. From my experience and observations, you can actually run the risk of unhappiness and confusion by trying to chase the traditional model of “success.” The reason is because, the traditional success route is generally designed from the outside-in. In other words, traditional success says that once you receive this material item, or status or position you are “successful.” The focus with the traditional success model is on the external things.

There is nothing at all wrong with pursuing things for material gain and wanting a higher perceived status.
Working for and achieving your material goals are very important, and have it’s place in the grander scheme of things. I personally like having a lot of money. I enjoy and appreciate the finer things in life and the good life, so by no means, am I saying not to try to acquire this.

Traditional Success: Outside-In Approach

However, realize that the total focus and approach towards “traditional success” takes your inner self out of the equation. With the outside-in approach, your first step is to look outside of yourself to define yourself. But in reality, the only way you are ever going to really know yourself and find happiness is to look within yourself first. Therefore, the model for real happiness in people is the inside-out approach.

Looking outside of oneself to determine one’s happiness is dangerous. It leaves you too open to the potential of having the material world and circumstances define you. As you play into this illusion that society wants from you, you have only two choices. Quit and get out of this situation, or let the situation continually control you. These two choices are really the only answers you will have once you have found yourself inside of the illusion that society tries to seal you into.

The real danger with striving for the traditional model of “success.” Is in you running the risk of losing out on who you really are, by focusing on having the external circumstances in society define who you are.

Today’s World
I think this message is actually a lot more relatable in today’s world, as we are seeing many individuals loose their jobs at record levels. As people continue to loose their jobs, they are beginning to look inward. They are starting to question the old model of traditional success, and are waking up to a whole new reality of the world they live in. Today’s economy is allowing more people the opportunity to focus on the inside-out approach. The truth is that awareness of this world that is changing, will be way ahead of the game. They are the chosen ones that are making positive changes in this world, by going inside their souls for the answers.

Creative Expression
One of the reasons I enjoy writing these blogs, is because I can creatively express my true nature, and my thoughts in written form. The process of writing these posts, allows me the freedom to be me, fully and authentically. While setting up the ideas for each post, I am coming from the inside-out approach. Wherein, I first look within me, and see what is it that my inner being wants to express outwards to the world. This is a joyful experience, that I feel very fortunate to be able to access and share.
By creatively expressing my ideas from within me on this post, I don’t run the risk of having outside circumstances define what I choose to be at the moment. You can say that writing these blogs is my version of keeping it real.

The Name of This site is Beyond Success!!!
The reason I call this blog Beyond Success, is because traditional success is not something that I can really say inspires my way of life at this point in my life. My intent is to allow people to go beyond that which mainstream America glorifies as traditional success. Beyond success allows the indvidual to look within themselves, to allow their own inner light to shine through for others. The intent is to just to get people dreaming big again, being that which they know that they truly are. I believe the moment that people begin to go beyond the traditional model of success, they will find their own freedom. They will be free to be themselves honestly and creatively sharing with the world the best parts of the their self. From this point, people are empowered and are in control of creating the reality they choose to create. That’s why the concept of beyond success blog is that you can be, do, and have what you want in life.

I write for the people that deep within know what they want out in life, and know that there is a higher calling for them that is inside of each of them, just waiting for the perfect opportunity to shine through in whatever there talent may be.

Begin now to think in terms of beyond success, which puts the focus back on your inner heart desires and eliminate the potential danger and trap of the traditional model of “success” that tries to keep you looking outside of yourself for answers. The answers are within each one of you. Tap into this and express this true power within you. By choosing beyond success, you eliminate the danger of striving for the traditional model of success that keeps many people trapped. Beyond success is freedom for your soul.

Make sure to leave a comment above with your thoughts and feedback on this post. I’d like to have a discussion going on about this topic. Thank you.

Why Working On Your Passion Is Not As Difficult As You May Think

spiral2 Why Working On Your Passion Is Not As Difficult As You May Think

“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” – Dr. Howard Thurman

Hello all.
We live in a society where most Americans are doing work they don’t enjoy. This is mainly because of the social conditioning we have all been brought up to believe. We were taught to work X amount of hours to get X amount of dollars, and if you like your job you are considered one of the lucky few.

My Observation

From my observation of truly happy, joyful and high achievers, I have found that these people all share one thing in common. Their work and their passion in life are blended in together as one. Truly happy, joyful high achievers set it up this way because they understand the importance of doing what they love for a living.

The idea of doing what you love is a concept many people in today’s society have a hard time grasping only because it sounds really good as an ideal to aspire to, but there seems to be many factors in the way of a person that actually intends to accomplish this.

The idea of working on your passion is not difficult in itself. For example, if you had a passion for music and loved playing the guitar, it is very easy for you to pick up a guitar and just start playing it for as long as you like. As you play the guitar you are working on your passion.

How Fear Stops People

However, what stops most people from pursuing their passion is Fear. Several different fears stand out, what society will think of you, fear of being different, fear of failing, fear of not having enough money.

Although there are many reasons people are fearful of not following their passions, for this blog post I have chosen the fear of not having enough money. I choose this one mainly because this is a misconceived fear that is very real to people in stopping themselves from following their passion.

There tends to be a lot of difficulty for most people will come from making money from ones passion. It seems to be the moment, we put the word “money” into the equation all sorts of emotions begin to pop up in people’s heads. This is because the topic of money has become very taboo in our society. We don’t talk about it so much, because there are a variety of emotions that come up with this topic. Depending on what you were conditioned to believe about money at an early age, will form your beliefs about it in your adult years.

In this post It is not my intention to try to tell you directly how to make money from your passion. The intent is to start inspiring and motivating you to opening up ideas for you to work on your passion, and find for yourself how to make money from this.

The reason I design it this way is because first of all, I never claim to be the “How to Guy” Secondly, I believe that with this structure I offer to to you, this is where your true passion is tested. I am very passionate person. What I write about in this blog about personal development is something I am passionate about. I believe that if someone was passionate about a cause, a project, or life dream that they would do whatever it really took (within law) to make their cause, project, or life dream happen.

In other words, if you completely take money out of the equation, and focus solely on your passion you will be tested in the form of self doubt. It is very natural as human beings to doubt ourselves. You will begin to doubt yourself, and ask yourself questions like “Is this what I should really be doing?” “I’m loosing money out of this, and won’t be able to pay my rent, maybe I should quit on this passion?”

The Truth Is

These questions of doubt and fear are really not a question about doubt or fear about money, but about how much belief you have in your passion. Money aside, it is your belief in what you are doing that really matters, and is at the core of everything. Yes, you may not realistically have the funds to take this on. But do you really think that, this roadblock is what stopped many other people who are achieving there dreams today? Once again it goes back to your inner fear of maybe just not being good enough, or fear of failing, or what society may think of you.

If you have to go to a job to pay bills, go to your job and pay bills. But spend the time you aren’t at your work on your passion to the fullest. This is the real test to your belief in making it happen. It isn’t as difficult as you may think because it really is just a matter of prioritizing time for your true passion. The people that make the time for their true passion are those that are highly successful. Sure there are many challenges and obstacles, but even after your job, if you really just set a little time each day on your passion you will be way ahead of the game. Just taking the time to make time for your passion is a positive step in the right direction. If there is a will there is always a way.

The universe recognizes when you are doing what you came here to do, and it will reward you. Your efforts won’t be denied if done with true belief, utter conviction, and unwavering faith. The universe responds to your belief and energy that you are sending out. If the energy you are sending out is, “I don’t think this will work,” the universe will comply and make sure that it doesn’t. It hears your energy.

If you gradually begin to see that it really just a belief in YOU that is holding you back from working on your passion, you will begin to see why my previous blogs are about helping you with the inner mindset of living a beyond successful life. Continue to re-read through my previous posts, as you will see the timeless value in each post to help you with your inner mindset. It really starts from your inner core beliefs about you. As you transform these ideas from “Maybe I can’t do this.” into “This will actually work out!” You will begin to see remarkable transformation in your life and will be well on your way to working on your passion. Working on your passion is not difficult once you get passed the fears that are in the way.

Let me know what you think about this post, leave me a comment above this post. Thank you!!!

“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
-Confucius

Hello all.
Lets get real. There is a majority of people that are doing stuff they hate for a living.

I have news for you. You doing what you hate is a choice, you doing what you love is a choice. All else are fears, or self limitations you were conditioned as a child to still choose to hang on to (which are also choices).

These are opportunistic times for you to start embarking on what you love. If you haven’t really given it much thought before, I urge you to sit down alone and write some of your dreams out. What is it you always wanted to be, do, or have? There is no limit to what you can be in this lifetime. Write them out clear so that you can read them. After you have it written out, leave it there somewhere you can see it everyday. It takes deep wisdom and awareness of self to fully live this way.

Don’t concern yourself at this moment as to how it will happen, just leave it there for a few days and then get back to it. You see I feel that so many people are so conditioned to think like robots into doing stuff they hate that they forget to dream again. Do this exercise, and just leave it alone. Come back to it in a few days or when spirit or your intuition tells you to get back to it.

When you get back to it, this is the time to find out practical steps that you will now write down on how to achieve this in a real way. Remember it takes time, think of practical small steps you commit to each day and take small action. Don’t be afraid of change. Let go of your old ways of doing stuff you hate, and begin now to take very small action steps daily that blends well with your passion, or what brings you joy. This is a long process, but the more you get clear on what it is you want, and gradually put less attention on what you don’t like doing, you become empowered in the process. The truth is that doing the things you love the more self awareness comes from within you.
You have what it takes, because dreams come to you for a reason. This reason is to fulfill those dreams with your time here on earth.

 Embrace Uncertainty

“The quality of your life is in direct proportion to the amount of uncertainty you can comfortably deal with.”
-Tony Robbins

Hello all.

It’s time to embrace uncertainty. There are many people that I understand are at crossroads in their life. I feel that many of you reading this may be at a place where you are choosing between hanging onto old fear based realites or letting that all of it go and embracing uncertainty.

I urge you to look at uncertainty as a good thing. The ability to embrace uncertainty and know that you are still being guided, brings more confidence and assurance to move forward.

When you choose to embrace uncertainty it may be very scary at first. Knowing how everything will turn out is something you may have gotten quite comfortable with and accustomed to. However, getting too comfortable may also mean there is no room for growth. Growth is about finding out more about who you are. As you begin to grow, you will see yourself faced with choices. Some of these choices, may require you to take a path that isn’t always gauranteed, but may be the best way for you to grow.

But how do you know if it is right for you? Listen to your intuition. Your intuition will always guide you to your higher path.

Embracing uncertainty allows you to develop this intuition. Hanging onto old outdated belief systems that no longer serve you, may not always be the right choice for you, even if that feels more comfortable.

Instead take the risk. The risk of being who you really are. This freedom is real, and it’s within you and always has been. Trust more in your ability to be at peace with not knowing what is going to happen next. This opens opportunities for you, that you never thought existed. Embracing uncertainty allows you to be more responsible for you. In this new found wisdom you will find your truth.

It takes a lot of courage to find your true path, but the journey is well worth it. Embracing uncertainty helps you develop this courage.

Peace,

+Baker

When you say "Yes" to doing a job you don't like, a part of your spirit dies.

su When you say "Yes" to doing a job you don't like, a part of your spirit dies.
delicous When you say "Yes" to doing a job you don't like, a part of your spirit dies.

When you say "Yes" to doing a job you don't like, a part of your spirit dies.

Hello all.

We have all been there. The moment of decision, you are offered a job that will make a good enough sum of money that is comfortable for you. “Yay! I finally got a job.” you say to yourself. You get really excited, your parents and people close to you cheer with you, saying all the same thing. The words are uttered “I’m proud of you.”
But wait one second, isn’t “pride” a form of the ego? And if anything is ego based then it won’t last long, and it doesn’t lead to true happiness right?

I get really worried when someone says they are “proud” of me. It’s an indication that I did something good for their ego or something to that effect… I know I’m going in the right direction when something feels right for me, and I actually don’t get a reaction from others. But when I make a decision that a majority of people in society make, like “getting a job” all of a sudden people are “proud of me” ? That worries me.

Being Proud?
It worries me to think that people close to me get an inner sense of pride when I do something like “getting a job.” That’s an indication that they are stuck in a box that someone else has trapped them in. Yes a job means you get money. Yes you need money to survive. But damn! Doing a job you don’t like kills a part of your spirit! Where is THAT STATEMENT in the fine print when I’m signing up for my freakin’ W-2! People need to wake up, and they need to wake up fast, because the world is changing. The rules are changing.

The economy is collapsing people. The reason it is collapsing is because the old structure was built on greed and hunger for power, and only satisfies the temporary high of the ego, so that one day someone who has reached some sort of powerful corporate position can say to that person…
“I’m proud of you.”
You say “yes” to the job. Little did you know the moment you said yes to this job, a part of your spirit dies. I Believe that in most cases, people accept jobs they don’t like because they are in need of something. In many cases it’s money. The bottom line is this, if you are doing a job you don’t like, and you make let’s say a lot of money from it, it won’t really matter in the end. The process is what it’s all about.

The Process
The process is the basis of my Beyond Successful Principles. I mean if you really enjoyed what you were doing and you weren’t in a “needy” position, life really does make a lot more sense. The universe abundantly gives to you the money, resources that you need. It’s all about staying in alignment with what is true for you. If you can trust this wisdom, and even just begin to study it you will find yourself in a place beyond your wildest dreams. You see your spirit knows what is good for you. It constantly tries to remind you via intuition and body signals. By body signals I mean, if you feel your body is being constantly weighed down or sluggish while doing your job, it may be an indication that your body is trying to tell you to choose another direction. Our physical body can only take so much.

Your Body Signals
I have the wonderful privilege of interviewing Caroline Sutherland. The best selling author of the book The Body Knows. She will be on my next blog post. She has studied this stuff and researched and has come to the realization that your physical body is constantly trying to give you signs of what is right or wrong for your spirit. The better your physical body feels the more in alignment you are with your true self, thus creating more exciting and enjoyable life experience.

Tune Into Abundance
What I do know for certain is that if you are doing a job you don’t like just out of neediness, I can guarantee you will always be in a state of neediness. Abundance can’t survive in a state of neediness, because abundance is actually the opposite mindset of neediness. Abundance is the ability to do what you need to do, when you need to do it. It is knowing that all your needs are met financially, emotionally, and spiritually. So in reality when you accept a job you don’t like out of neediness, you actually become more poor, which reflects everything else around you, thus takes away your true abundance that lies within you.

Still Proud?
So please, don’t be proud of people when they are doing jobs they don’t like, because that gives them further motivation to stop listening to their spirit. It gives them validation and approval to do things they don’t like for reasons they don’t understand. Instead be inspired by the blogger, who chooses to blog all day long because that is what give him joy, that is what excites him everyday. Be inspired by the talented musician on youtube who is staying up until 4am to compose some beautiful music for you, because it livens his spirit. Be inspired by the individual who decided to quit her job, and start an empowering business that intends to build a community based on something she feels passionate about and that can create a more positive uplifting space for herself and the people she empowers. Be inspired by the individual that says NO to larger sums of money offered by a corporate job, and chooses to work on his or her passion instead. But also be inspired to the person that says YES to accepting larger sums of money by working on his or her passion. :)

Don’t say “yes” to doing a job you don’t like. Say “YES” to doing work that keeps your spirit alive.

Sticking With Your Talents-What is Your Bread & Butter?

su Sticking With Your Talents What is Your Bread & Butter?
delicous Sticking With Your Talents What is Your Bread & Butter?

bread and butter Sticking With Your Talents What is Your Bread & Butter?

Hello.
Writing these blogs is where I feel most comfortable and at ease on a creative level.
I consider myself an above average blogger, because I enjoy writing. This enjoyment is proof enough for me to continue on. My bread and butter is writing these blogs and specifically personal development blogs that inspire others to grow consciously.

TRULY TALENTED INDIVIDUALS

I happen to know some truly talented individuals who are exceptional at singing. I get really inspired hearing them sing, because I can at times, really feel the enjoyment and passion in their voice as they are singing. These talented individuals know their bread and butter, and they stick to their talent. I am in awe at times listening to great musicians, really going out and sharing their talents, and passion. However for me, I know that if I really tried singing I probably wouldn’t be very good at it, because it’s not something I personally truly have a passion for, nor the natural talent.

I also know amazing people who are really good at organizing and planning. These people can take something that may look really complex for me personally, and break it down into tangible organized planning, that end up with positive results. I am mediocre with organizing and planning, because it’s not something I truly have a passion for. I truly admire individuals who have a strong talent in organizing and planning, but if I tried to step to their level I know realistically I wouldn’t be as efficient in that area as they would be.

“Put your talent into your work, but your genius into your life”
-Oscar Wilde

MY BREAD AND BUTTER
For now, my “bread and butter” is in writing blogs. This blog is what I go back to when I need a creative outlet for myself. Even if I haven’t posted on here much of late, I know that I can always go back to this creative form, to get my creativity out of me. I really enjoy writing blogs, because it allows me to share and provide positive value to my readers. I stick to my bread and butter, because this is where my energy is needed at this particular time in my life. It may change as I grow, (perhaps into public speaking ) But for now, this is where I feel I can operate at my best. My ability to write and provide positive value at the same time is very exciting for me. Providing positive value to me is enjoyable. Some people may not enjoy providing positive value, and may like doing many other things. I want you to understand that whatever you are really good at doing, enjoy it to the max and stick with it. Don’t worry too much about what other people are really good at, and focus on what you are really good at. Expand your talents. You were given these talents for a reason.

Another talent I have, that most people that personally know me are aware of, is that in person I’m a pretty funny guy. I enjoy making people laugh. I have a humors side that comes out at random, and I think the fact that it’s random is what makes it even more funny…lol. It’s something I don’t even really try hard at, and don’t even notice when I’m doing it! It really is very easy for me to make light of any situation. My humor is another bread and butter for me in more social situations. I tap into my humors side to feel more comfortable. I like to use humor to open up conversations and break the ice with all different types of people. I believe that with a good laugh, people’s guards are usually let down and I get to strike up really nice conversations with the individual on more grounded terms.

“True happiness involves the full use of one’s power and talents.”
John W. Gardner

I have several talents, but I stick to what works at the moment. This topic is very of reminiscent of when I used to play basketball. I knew that my bread and butter was my mid range jumpshot. I knew that if I shot a mid range jumpshot 8 time out of 10, I would make the basket. I was talented in other offensive areas such as driving it into the hole, and long range shooting, but my bread and butter was the mid-range shot. I can count on it, when I needed it. It was a comfortable spot for me.

SHARE YOUR TALENT
Starting out, It’s also important to experiment and try new things. You really never know where your real talents are if you never really gave it try in the first place! However if you are fortunate enough to have, found a few talents you are really good at, I urge you to stick with those main ones. Those main talents will become your bread and butter. Also, don’t be afraid to show it to others. Showing your talent to others whether it be singing, dj-ing, dancing, organizing, leading, humor etc…Show it to people, because you never know how many people actually get inspired by you sharing your talents!

Putting your creative work out is always a challenge. Especially when you are just starting out. A lot of the pressure comes from not knowing what the audience will think. This leads to a fear of criticism.
Have you ever tried something that you thought was really creative and people laughed and looked down on you for doing it? Or maybe you just had what you believed to be a truly creative idea and ambitious goal and people said “how can you do that?” or “You can’t do that!”
While constructive criticism is essential to any worthwhile success, when you let what people say negatively effect your action towards your goal, it can turn into a problem.

“In essence, if we want to direct our lives, we must take control of our consistent actions. It’s not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives, but what we do consistently.”
-Tony Robbins

I use my personal blogs as an example a lot. I started out these blogs with no real concrete direction in mind. I just started out as a hobby, something to “kill time.” really knew was that I was going to use my personal life experiences as I was building my business and share ideas that have worked for me along the way. The first six months I received consistent 0 views on my blog. So I mean 17,000+ views later I think that’s not so bad.

“Do It Now Method”
The point here is this. If you have something creative to share, use the method that I use.
The method is called the “Do It Now” Method.
I say to myself, “Do it Now” every time I have a creative idea, and I write it down on a notebook, so I won’t forget it. Or I immediately start working on it at that moment.

This gets my creative juices moving into action immediately, so that there is not enough time to second guess my idea. You can use this method whenever you have a creative idea, and witness the great results of this simple yet highly effective method. I believe that we limit our creativity when we over think what we should do. Those hunches, or intuitive ideas that come to each one of us comes for a reason, and it is up to you to either hold on to it or share it with others.

If you begin using the “Do it Now Method” you will begin to see that great results take place, because you are putting immediate action on your hunches. It is also important to remember it’s perfectly fine if what you decide to work on doesn’t come out like you expected the first time. This takes practice, the more you develop this method the better the results over time.
The critics will be out there both positive and negative, but continue to create and deliver anyway.
Put your creativity into action.

“The most effective way to achieve right relations with any living thing is to look for the best in it, and then help that best into the fullest expression.”

Hello all.
Providing positve value to people is where the juice in life is. When you focus on service and assisting others, you take yourself outside of the box, and into a world of endless possibilities. The best way to reach your own desires and goals, is by first asking yourself, how can I Provide positive value to people? Providing positive value has a very special reward for many individuals. One of the best rewards by providing positive value to people is the inner sense of accomplishment you will receive. When I write these posts, a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment becomes present in me. There are many ways to provide positive value to people. The best way is to focus on your own talents. What are you naturally good at?
When you pick what you are naturally good at, for example writing, counseling, photography, music or anything of that nature, share this unique talent and focus on the positive value that you are sending out.
Sending out positive value is essential to getting the ball rolling in life. As you stay in-tune with your talents, and focus on providing positive value, soon enough it becomes really easy for you to do so. It becomes very natural to do what you do and share this amazing gift with other people.
The fulfillment in creating positive value alone is one of the best feelings in the world.

Many people get stuck endlessly working hard for something that barley keeps them surviving. This is the old way of doing things, and is not the only way to make a living. When your total focus is to provide positive value to the world, for doing something whether it be at a job, or your own business, you are making a bold statement. You are trusting that you believe in what you have to offer the world and are living a more meaningful life, versus just going with the motions. To be a person of service and have that value reach many people I think is way more valuable than trying to survive. Providing positive value to others can come in many different forms. The best part is that you get to decide how to create this reality. As long as you are following your highest joy and working on your talents, with the intent of providing positive value to people, I believe that the world is yours.

Focus first on what you can provide to others, and the rest will flow naturally to you. You will be amazed at the great positive changes in your life that begin to emerge as a result of providing positive value to other people.

Hello all.
Imagine a world where the majority of people didn’t do what they loved. What a minute, that is real in some parts of the U.S. Hmm. Okay, you don’t have to imagine it, it is already happening. Why are people worried about things that they can’t control anyway? Why is there still hate and bickering among people? Why is it when I speak of positive thinking, people still are skeptical about it, and allow their negative thoughts to talk them out of the good positive things in life? The reasons for these circumstances occurring is many fold. But the one reason that I want to point out is that, many people fall victim to these negative behaviors because they aren’t in alignment with who they really are. They slipped and allowed media and or government to control their way of life, and way of being. We live in a free society, but I wonder if the rules of this society cater to someone at the top to make all the money? When people wake up to the idea that they treat one another harshly because they are conditioned to do so, then we begin to wake up to the reality that we create our own future with our thoughts and actions. When you do what you don’t like repeatedly, you will live in a world that bounces back that same dissatisfaction into your life. What will happen is that you create more suffering for yourself and the other people around you. If enough people do this, you will begin to see a very twisted and hateful world.

When you do the opposite and do what you love, a world opens up to you that is more clearer, fulfilling, welcoming, and loving. So look around you, are a majority of people doing what they really are supposed to in this life? If they aren’t doing so, then do you think that has an effect on the people closest to them ?

What if the opposite happened? Would that just be too idealistic? Or is this something we can actually be hopeful for and make strides to becoming?
What would happen if the majority of the people in the world did what they loved?
I feel we are coming into awareness of a collective consiousness awakening to ideas that were once rejected and feared. The idea of positive energy and consious living will begin to be mainstream and widely accepted in the near future. These ideas are not idealistic, this is the reality that I live in. These ideas for a better society begins with you. Don’t just do what you love, but “BE” what you love.
