Awesome Living
“It’s the simple things that make life awesome.” +Baker

Awesome living, it’s something we all want. I know that I live an aweome life. I am living an awesome life, and that is not egotistical. It’s just the way it is. People that live aweome lives like me are shining from within. I don’t concern myself with the good or the bad that people are doing in life. It is not my mission to save the world. My mission is to spread light and be the authentic me that lives an awesome life.

Do I have bad days? Yes. There are times when things seem very challenging in life. But, even at that I find the awesomeness. But, I continue to live an awesome life because I focus on awesome.
For example, I had a salad this morning, it had my favorite salad dressing: blue cheese. Some people might not like blue cheese as a salad dressing, heck some people may not even like salad. But I do, and I think it is awesome that I get to eat healthy food with dressing that I think is delicious. That is a small example of how awesome I am living. It is very simple to some, but that’s the secret. It’s the simple things that make life awesome.

What is My Point?
Maybe in life there really doesn’t need to be a point to anything. Maybe I’m just typing here expressing my gratitude for a couple of people to read this, and maybe they can find something simple in this writing that sparks some kind of creative juice within them to make them happy. The intent of this post is not to blow you away. Although, I am blown away daily by how simple my life is and how awesome it is at the same time. I’m acknowledging the basics here. These basics lay the foundation for the beyond successful life that I lead. I had a salad, I enjoyed it in the present moment, I am writing to you now fully present enjoying it. Later on the day, I may go for a sunset run by the lake. I might even have another blue cheese salad for lunch and a delicious mouth watering fish burrito, who knows. All I know is that life is awesome and I’m enjoying the very simple things in the moment that allow that awesomeness to flow in. You can do the same if you want, it’s your choice.

Awesome living,

“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.”
-Buddah

This past week I’ve made an honest effort to stay more in the present moment. What I have found is that the longer I stay out of the present moment awareness, the more challenging it is to get back into it. In other words, the reason I chose to make a real effort to be in the present moment at the start of this week, is because the week prior I’ve been a little scattered and misplacing my energies into too many activities.
So I began this week trying to get into the present moment more. However, the interesting thing about “trying” to get into the present moment simply doesn’t work for me. It’s not something I can’t try to do. It seems the more I try to be present, what I’m seeking moves further away from me.
What I’ve done instead of trying to be more present, was to just accept whatever is in front of me that I must work with at the moment. Its more of being aware of what I’m doing at the exact moment, and accepting whatever comes to me in that exact time. I have found that if I keep my mind in awareness and acceptance of what is, I can go pass this whole idea of “trying to be present.”

Letting It Go

I have found that this week things tend to go so much more smooth and easier when I just let go and detach myself from trying to “get to” a certain outcome. For example, I wanted my Arizona video to be perfect. I wanted it to resemble a sense of inspiration and empowerment to my viewers. However, if I continued to think about perfection the whole way through the process of making the video, the video itself would never be released because I would be always constantly try to make changes on it and never really feel it is getting to where I want it to go. So I actually spent several weeks trying hard to put a video together that resembled the infant stages of my Arizona trip and blend it in nicely with quotes that I’ve used in this blog for optimal effect. I was trying to piece this video together, and just kept running into a wall. It just wasn’t working out trying to do it myself.

The Solution

So, I paid my wonderful, highly organized, and talented sister to do the video for me. Now this type of video creation comes very easy and naturally for her. In fact she loves doing this. So thank you Kimbundance for making this video for me, it came out just the way I wanted it and more so. So I am grateful for the successful collaboration.
The combination of detachment and letting things go, and being aware in the present moment has been a truly amazing experience for me. I hope this real life example has demonstrated for my readers the positive results of being present and detached in what you are aiming to accomplish. If not, that’s fine too I really don’t care either way.

Being Present,

Hello all.
My intuition has been at an all time high recently.
Here is a short story. Yesterday, I had a difficult time sleeping. There was this ringing in my ear all night, that was bugging me. I finally get to sleep at around 4am in the morning. I had my normal dreams, and then all of a sudden I get this crystal clear vision of a website. This website played in my minds eye between my waking and sleeping state. It lasted for what seemed like 1 full minute. I saw this image of this hip hop, artistic, urban feeling website with really cool and innovative things going on the site. The vision was so clear and vivid, almost hard to put into words. I knew exactly who this vision was for. I immediately texted this person as soon as I got finished writing down this very clear vision I had. I get a message back from him, and he shows me a blog he’s been working on recently. I was in awe of at how accurate the blog looked like, in comparison to what I saw in my early morning “vision.” And oh yeah, the ringing in my ear stopped after I got the “vision.”

I want to quickly just include the 2 Things I’ve been doing lately that I believe have enhanced my intuition tremendously.

1. Eating Healthier
2. Daily Meditation

Peace,

Hello all.
I speak in my book entitled Beyond Success: Baker Style about the major energy earth shift that is taking place on this planet right now. There will be a split in awareness between two types of individuals.

1. Individuals that understand the positive shift in energy is emerging on this planet and move along with it.
2. Individuals that try hard to fight against the shift in energy taking place by desperately holding onto old negative belief systems.

I am afraid to say that the people holding on to old b.s approach to way of life in how they choose to live, will suffer a great deal. For this is the law of the universe. “What you send out, you will receive.” The universal laws that have always been in place, such as the law of karma also known as the law of cause and effect will be moving a lot faster in 2010-2012. As you begin to see through the b.s that society is trying to keep you under, you will awaken to the truths that you have already deep within your spirit. This goes beyond, being an employee or entrepreneur. This goes beyond your perceived status. This is an energy shift that is very real at this moment, and will continue to move faster as time progresses. This is a bigger cosmic thing event in our earth’s history that is happening.

There is a lot of B.S in this society that people are having a hard time dealing with. The reason they are having a hard time dealing with it, is because they know that deep down they know it doesn’t align with their true self. Whenever something doesn’t resonate with your true self, there will be a feeling of struggle, resistance and hardship. People are suffering in today’s world because they are either consciously or unconsciously choosing to be blind from the truth of their spirit. They are ignoring simple laws of what you give out you get back, and unconsciously creating further suffering for themselves and others.

The only real way to change this is to change your attitude towards life. This life that we are living at this moment can either be the best of times, or the worst of times. It all begins with your thoughts, and how you choose to perceive the world. If you are still stuck in the old conditioned negative ways of doing things, and you know deep down something doesn’t feel right about it, the only thing that is stopping you is your own fear. This fear comes from the ego. The ego always wants to stay the same, and does not like to welcome new change. The ego thinks it is in control of the situations, when it is not. The ego enjoys keeping you in fear, and either making you feel smaller or bigger than you really are.

The B.S that people in this society are holding onto consist of a long list. I’m sure you are aware of what you are choosing to hold onto that you know no longer serves you or others. This can come in the form of constantly thinking negative thoughts of yourself and others, holding on to a job that is killing your spirit just for the pay, and constantly eating unhealthy foods. The list goes on…

Desperately holding onto old self limiting belief patterns, is not going to survive in this new energy. This new energy on this planet, is one of peace, love, abundance, and unity. The moment we begin to all tap into this positive energy and start living from our true selves, believing and being who we are and making the intention to make a positive difference on the world, is the exact moment the B.S diminishes. This is when truth becomes clear. This is the exact moment your awareness begins to shift from that of the victim to the victor. Begin now to look within yourself. Stop worrying about what others think about you, and start thinking for yourself. What you choose to focus on in this new energy, will manifest quicker than at other times in your past. The reason is because the time for change is among all of us. You need to move with the current of positive, and high vibrational energy in order to fully experience this new wave of energy that is present here now for you.

Your true power and clarity can only come when you are being your true self. Begin now to come from a place of your true power that is inside of you. From this place you will be moving with the new energy instead of against it. When you become more in alignment with your true self, you will experience awareness, and clarity. Tap into the wisdom within you, you will find clarity in that space. In this you can help and assist others to also share their light as well.

Please share this post with others, and comment on this post above. Thank you!!!

How To Thrive Through Your Quarter Life Crisis

arizonasun How To Thrive Through Your Quarter Life Crisis

Maturity is the time of life when, if you had the time, you’d have the time of your life. -Unknown

Hello all.
We probably all heard of a mid life crisis. But how many people actually put any thought into a quarter life crisis?
For the sake of this blog post, we will term a quarter life crisis as a period of anxiety, uncertainty and inner turmoil that often accompanies the transition to adulthood. We will say that the age for a quarter life crisis is 25 years old respectively. I never really gave this topic much thought until, I actually sat down and thought about where I have been so far, and what is ahead. I had to check into my past and my future, and being 25 I’ll admit a bit of that quarter life crisis issue, kind of creeped up on me.

I didn’t feel so much that I haven’t done much in my life thus far, as my accomplishments such as graduated college, owned a home, moved out on my own, written and completed 2 books, managing a successful personal development blog are already in place. I am proud of what I’ve managed to accomplish at the age of 25.

My quarter life crisis, (if you want to call it that) feeling came from a wonder of what is next for me. Not so much fear, but more of a feeling of excitement and innocent wonder for the future.

I guess, I wouldn’t really call it a quarter life crisis then. It is more of a quarter life excitement. However, I have come across people my age, that actually have had this become a quarter life Crisis really affect them. I believe there are 3 causes that allow this quarter life crisis to unfold in a 25 year old. I will describe these 3 causes below.

I have found through observation, that individuals that really have a “quarter life crises,” generally are individuals who think very linear. They see things in categories and judge others based on their age and see people through egoic accomplishment. They may seem to see themselves as less or more on the basis of what they’ve accomplished at their age. These are the individuals that always seemed to always be doing stuff that they were “supposed to” at the age the were “supposed to.” Although, I don’t really think that is how I naturally operate, I made this post for those that do see things this way, to guide them through this phase.

3 Useful Tips on How To Thrive Through Your Quarter Life Crisis

1. Stay Present
Spiritual gurus, speak a lot about the importance of present moment awareness. The reason is because the present moment is where all your power resides. The past is over and done with, and the future is still unknown. So most of your joy and peace in life will come from what you do now. Although your action steps prior to today, have led you to this place, the point is to focus on what you are dealing with at this moment. As you become more present in your day to day life, you will slowly see the idea of a quarter life crisis begin to diminish. Be here now!

2. Don’t Compare Yourself
One of the things the ego loves to do is compare. It likes to compare where you are today with where other people are at. Don’t fall in this trap. This idea of comparison is what causes the quarter life crisis in the first place. The ego says “I’m 25 years old and I feel less, because other 25 year olds have more than me.” The reverse is also true. “I’m 25 years old and I feel better, because I have more than other 25 year olds.” Do you see how comparing yourself is all ego based, and doesn’t really serve you? Focus on what you feel you need to get done, and don’t base your emotions of feeling better or worse on what other people your age are “doing.” We all grow and learn things at different stages. Learn to be you now, not your “age.” Comparing yourself to others is a waste of time. Move along in your direction with confidence and joy.

3. Be Honest With Yourself
Regardless if you are going through a quarter life crisis or not, recognize that honesty with self will surpass this mini dilemma that you have created for yourself. If you aren’t where you really know you can be, start off slowly. First admit you aren’t exactly where you want to be yet. After you gradually acknowledge this and become aware of this, start making plans to positively change your situation. Understand where you are in terms of what you want out of life, and start from there. Don’t try to do so many things at once. Take it one step at a time, and be honest with your own progression and how you feel about it. As you move along, remember to celebrate the small victories along the way, and don’t be too hard on yourself. The more honest you are with where you are in your life, the easier and faster the solutions comes to your aid. Begin now to take positive action!

*Are you going through a quarter life crisis, or will soon be reaching this age? Have you already passed this age a long time ago? If so, I’d really like to know your thoughts and personal experience if you are going through this, or if it hasn’t effected you. Please leave a comment above this post, and let’s get a discussion going about this topic!!! Thank you very much.

~Gratitude ~

“Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude.” -Denis Waitley

Hello all.
Lately I’ve been on a reflective state. I’ve thinking to myself why do good things continue to happen to me at a nice pace? The answer was found in my ability to express gratitude in the small things daily. Many things are working well. For instance, I also write articles for a website called Ehow.com, One of my Ehow aricles entitled: How to be automatically rich is getting rave reviews, a few people actually have stated that they printed out my article and are hanging it on their walls, as a reminder or affirmation to practice this daily habit of being automatically rich. I am grateful that my articles continue to make a positive difference in people’s lives.

Mastering the art of gratitude.

When we choose to focus on the things going right in our life, we raise our energy to a new level. This new level allows more of the good to flow in to our lives. When we aren’t grateful with what we already have we block out more good to flow in. This comes in terms of money, relationships, and creative insight. The truth is that there is a real danger of continual focusing on what is going wrong allows you to be reactive, v.s being proactive.

Reactive v.s Proactive
With a reactive focus you are stuck in a state of victimization. You begin to look at your circumstances and notice all the problems. With a proactive focus, you start from an empowered place. You begin to see what is going right and flow and notice the solutions. I believe that with the proactive focus, you are more in alignment with your true self.

Your True Self
Your true self is powerful, confident, and aligned with the universe. It knows when to take action, and when to detach and let things go. Your true self is more trusting and easy. It doesn’t require much physical effort, because it knows and trusts in the flow of the universe. This wisdom of understanding your true self will bring more awareness in your life.

When things don’t seem to be going as planned, focus on the good that is already there. As you begin to focus on the good, you will attract more good into your life because the simple small shift in focus changes your vibrational energy. This world is all comprised of energy. As we start to understand this, we will be more conscious of what we choose to place our attention to on a regular basis.

Practice Gratitude Daily

When I personally make an effort to practice gratitude daily, more good things begin to manifest in my life. Even if it feels hard to focus on what you already have, continue to do it. Make it a daily discipline to start to witness the good that is already in your life. From the small things in your life, and gradually to bigger things. No matter who you are, or what situation you think you are in, there is always something in your life to be grateful for. If there is nothing you can see, just simply be grateful for being alive. Express gratitude for simply being healthy and the ability to breathe air. Start small, and you will quickly begin to see all the wonderful things and experiences that are worthy of your gratitude. From this place of gratitude, you are empowered, you are coming from a place of abundance instead of lack.
You are tuning into your true empowered self. The art of gratitude seems very simple, and it is. Many people try to over complicate this idea, but it’s a simple tool that continues to work in my life, and will work in yours as well.

With Gratitude,

“We are what we repeatably do. Excellence, then is not an act, but a habit.
-Aristotle

Hello all.
There are major changes happening in my world, and in the world of many other people. Seems like keeping up to speed with these new changes can be a struggle for people. These changes often come in the form of inner struggles we must face head on. I remember when I used to have struggles living back home in Cali, with my family and things of that nature. Struggling really with the pressure that I put on myself, to make everyone “happy.” But at the end of the day, just feeling drained from trying to be everything for everyone. I can remember thinking to myself, “Damn, there is a lot of people around me, is it my job to lift everyone up?” This was such an overwhelming process for me. I put a lot of pressure to make people see the good in life, because I felt I was so blessed to have naturally seen the world through my positive lenses. It started to take its toll when I realized I couldn’t take this on all myself.

But was it really a valid excuse to not take action towards living up to my true potential? Was I using other people as my reason to not excel at the speed I truly knew I was capable of? At the time yes, it felt like a valid excuse. Looking back, with a clear mind, today I don’t feel those were valid excuses. I was mistakenly making the excuse that other people were the cause of the problem, instead of me taking action on what I really need to do to get my own personal growth to where I knew it could be.

When I moved out here to Arizona on my own, the theme for me was responsibility. However, it was not responsibility in the sense of drudgery or hard work per se. It was responsibility for my thoughts and me being in alignment with my true self.

What this means, was to begin to say no to things that didn’t resonate with me, and say yes to things I resonated with. One example is working on my own personal development. A lot of times the courage to say “No” to things that no longer serve you, may take a lot of time and energy on your part. But people living in higher levels of positive vibration and live a beyond successful life are willing to make this life changing leap.

The truth is that as human beings, it is very natural to find a wide range of excuses that prevent us from growing in the direction we feel we really are destined to grow. This may come in the form of hanging on to the negative habit of procrastination, staying stuck in a physical location that hinders our growth, or maybe trying to ignore the need to personally grow all together. These can manifest by spending too much time watching television, or gradually developing other unproductive habits.

Furthermore, it is very easy to get in the habit of blaming other people, (consciously or unconsciously) for the reasons we are not living up to our true potential. However, by placing our energy towards things outside of our own control (in this case other people) we slowly begin to dis-empower ourselves. We start to react to situations instead being proactive. We become more of a victim to circumstances instead of the victor.

To get a better understanding of my own personal struggle and challenges, I have included the top 3 things that I’ve courageously given up. By me clearly defining what I’ve given up, you can see that the way I live my life today, can no longer be filled with excuses that prevent me from living up to my true potential. It is safe to say that giving up these 3 things in particular for me, has empowered me to continue to lead a beyond successful life.

The top 3 excuses I personally have let go of recently, that have made a positive impact on my own personal development

I. The “Watching Too Much Television Excuse”
( NO! Let’s not see what’s on tonight.)

I also made the conscious choice to not watch television anymore. Back home in Cali, I used to watch television from time to time, it wasn’t like heavy duty television watching, but it was enough to get me hooked. I wasn’t told that the real reason why it’s called a television “program,” is because it is a meant to program you in the way it wants to. Do you really want to leave your life up at the chance of what mainstream television is trying to program you towards? This scares so many people the idea that I don’t watch television, but I’ve had some really positive benefits result from this. I eliminated watching television, so that can no longer be an excuse for me.

Top 3 Benefits of NOT Watching Television

1. Think for yourself. If you are an independent thinker like me, you have a difficult time allowing other people to control your beliefs. SO why would you spend more than 1 hr watching a television program? The ideas being presented on a television set are not your own, they are thoughts of someone else that really just wants to control your way of life. You may not see it directly, but indirectly the truth is evident in how you live your life.

2. Keeps you disciplined. If you are like most people and sit in your very comfortable couch and just let the television unconsciously effect you, than practice not having the television on for 7 days. Instead use that time you would have normally used watching television, into something that can make a difference in your personal development, read my book, or write out your feelings in the form of journaling. The discipline of having the television turned off for 7 days will allow you to focus your attention on more important things for your own personal development.

3. Enhances Positive Thinking. Not watching television allows you to start thinking positive. A majority of the ideas and beliefs express in most television programs are negative. These negative images can become your reality if you watch too much television, because these ideas enter into your unconscious mind. When you stop watching television you get to choose your thoughts and you have the choice to think more positive, and create your reality with what you intend to see, and not be at the mercy of a television program to design your life for you.

II. The “I don’t have enough Money Excuse”
(No! Let’s not glorify being broke.)

I’m not going to act like I’m struggling financially when that’s not really the case. I come from a well to do family, and I worked a Real Estate deal awhile back that covers me for a few months, and I just always have more than enough money. I have books for sale that are going to continue to sell well, and I make money off of royalties. This is not something I say to brag, it’s just my thoughts about abundance and money are so in alignment with who I really am that money is not an issue for me. So I would be straight lying to my readers if I came across as a broke “hustler” trying so hard to make a dollar by doing what I love. There’s nothing cute or clever, about glorifying being broke.
Look, I do what I love, I have more than enough money, I’m working towards passive income streams that pay me whether I work or not, and that’s the end of that story.
So on the money tip, not having money is not an excuse. I continue to live my best life and do what I love, and fully enjoy this process because of my mindset and my business skills I’ve developed over time. I’m the Baker I gets my dough.
This more than anything is an abundance mindset. I eliminated glorifying scarcity and lack, so this is no longer an excuse for me.

The Benefits of the Abundance Mindset

1. Allows you to focus more on your passion. You get to focus on more of what you love versus what you hate doing. Your abundance mindset allows the resources to flow to you, money and otherwise. This mindset allows you to spend more time doing things that makes a bigger positive impact on society at a larger scale, without the fear of lack.

2. More play time. The beauty of having an abundance mindset is that you have a lot more play time and less work time. As a matter of fact, there becomes this very thin line between work and play. Confucius once wrote, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”

3. Respect. With money comes respect. People really do still look up to the person with the money. People with this respect from others, consequently have way more responsibilities placed on them, but on the flip side they can also pay other people to handle the technical stuff that they have a hard time doing, so at the end of the day it works out fine.

III. The “Drinking and Partying Up Late Excuse”

(NO! Let’s not get “Messed Up!”)

I want to mention that I used to drink alcoholic beverages and have fun on weekends. I gave this up, the same day that I was rushed to the E.R room because of drinking too much alcohol. If you ever had ulcer pains in the stomach, you know what I mean. This pain was probably the worst feeling I’ve ever experienced deep within the pit of my stomach. This was a lesson, I’ve learned the hard way. I guess it really is just something that comes with maturity, and responsibility.
So from that point on I stopped drinking alcohol. I’ve given up the excuse, and find more creative ways to have a fun time. I’ve given up drinking too much alcohol, so this is no longer an excuse for me.

Top 3 Benefits of non-alcohol use

1. Finding More Creative Ways To Have fun. You are forced to find activities that bring about the same enjoyment that alcohol would normally bring out, and you get more creative with how you spend your fun time. Ironically, you will begin to see that you never really needed alcohol in the first place to have fun. There is fun inside you, just be creative about it.

2. You stand out from other people.
The people drinking at the party may have a lot of fun, but deep down that inner knowing that you are consious and can have fun without alcohol is pretty empowering feeling. As you develop this inner confidence that your doing the right thing for you, you begin to feel a lot better about yourself.

3. Saving someone’s life.
If you are in scene with other drinkers, and you are the only one not drinking alcohol, maybe that can raise some red flags to someone who is using drinking as an escape mechanism, instead of trying to deal with their real life problems head on. So you being the non alcohol drinking example may actually make a real difference in someone’s life.

I hope that by outlining my personal examples of the 3 excuses that I’ve put away with, gradually you can see what areas in your life that you are just making excuses for to cover up what really needs to get done, to live to your true potential. By giving up a negative habit that prevents you from your own personal development, that excuse can no longer stop you from being who you have to be, to get to where you want to go. I hope this post was useful and served value for you. You guys have a wonderful and blessed day.

With Positive Vibes,

I’ll be coming home for Christmas

Hello all.
I’ll be coming home for Christmas. I’ll be visiting my home is in Riverside California this Christmas season. I recently moved out here to Arizona 3 months ago. It will be very hard to see my family this Christmas holiday, because it brings back so many memories of amazing Christmas times as a kid. I am 25 years old and I don’t know how people that move out of their house deal with going back home for a visit their family, where things feel very comfortable and easy. I know it will be a bit rough, because of the emotions that come with everything surrounding the holidays.

I consider myself a simple individual. I used to look forward to holidays, but lately my life as an independent young man has been nothing short of extraordinary. In other words, I have days where I just really feel good throughout the entire day. A lot of this has to do with my new found freedom, but it also has to do with having the blessed opportunity work on my passion, which at the moment happens to be blogging.

Anyway, I can’t say I am as festive as I am today as I was as a child. Seems like the real essence of Christmas tends to get lost as you grow older. I feel like I have to put on extra energy to make Christmas feel like “Christmas” this time around. I’m really taking everyday as a blessing and choosing to stay fully present in the moment. All I know is at this moment on Dec 13, 2009 I’m at peace. On Dec. 12, 2009 I felt jolly. Does this make sense? My point is that everyday is a special day, depending on how you look at it. Dec. 25th is not anymore special than Dec. 26th 27th and so on…
Be present here now. Christmas will come, but today is today.

One of My Top 3 Best Christmas Memories

Probably one of my top 3 best Christmas memories ever. It was when I visited the Philippines in 2003. This was such an amazing Christmas because there was a real authentic Christmas spirit that was present while I was in the Philippines. I don’t know if it was just because I was in a country I haven’t been before, but there was something about the people and the humility, and honesty of the locals that made the Christmas holiday really come alive for me. It wasn’t about the presents or all the other “hoopla” that can sneak into Christmas season. It was quality time spent with cousins that I have never met before.

It was the simplicity of long nights of the joyful and at times deep conversations with connecting with family I haven’t seen prior. Oh and the food! It really did feel like food for the soul, because a lot of the times it was lunch or dinners that my aunts and uncles would cook up, and there is certain feeling and quality to eating food that is made and served with love. It wasn’t the hoopla, it was real for me.
I think we take a lot for granted here in the United States. The economic downfall that will collapse the American empire as we know it, will be a real eye opener and will dramatically change the core values for most Americans living here today.

So what I’m really saying here, is be aware of today. Stay present. Don’t concern yourself with how it will turn out, appreciate the little things that make this Christmas season special. Keep it simple. The other top 2 Most memorable Christmas moments I’ll share probably next Christmas time. Hopefully appreciating the little things each day will truly make this Christmas season a jolly one for you! I have included 3 tips below to make this Christmas Season feel more jolly for you.

3 Tips for a Jolly Christmas Season

1. Keep It Simple

Don’t go wild with all the hoopla that comes along with Christmas. Be yourself, and don’t act like something you are not around people you haven’t seen in awhile. I generally generate a lot of excitement when people see me, but I just want the simple genuine spirit to come out for this holiday season. Aim for the simplicity, and express sincere gratitude for all the people in your life. I have the privilege of attending Christmas parties in really gigantic houses with an overabundance of delicious food to eat. Yet I will still try to keep it simple in my heart. Try this out this time around.

2.Enjoy the Moment

Be present. Don’t focus too much on all the other things that are going on. Keep your focus on who is in front of you, and share this moment with this person with your undivided attention. We sometimes get so caught up in everything surrounding Christmas that we forget to stay present in the moment. Enjoy the moment.

3. Spend Quality Time With Family & Close Friends

This is a major one. Spend time with your family and close friends. Put away all past hurts and pride that you may still have towards anyone in your family and friends. This is a time to really just see the good in your family and close friends and to appreciate the quality time spent with your family and friends at this time. Be more understanding and release the ego. Spending quality time with your family and close friends also ties in with being present with them and giving each person your undivided attention.

I hope these 3 tips will allow for a more jolly experience this holiday season with you and yours.

Happy Holidays.

Secondly, start acting as if you are what you have just said. Act in a manner that exudes your true self. When you are yourself and you are feeling good about this, move forward in a positive manner.
