“The power of intention manifests as an expression of expanding creativity, kindness, love, and beauty.”
-Dr. Wayne Dyer

Today begins the first day for the month of March 2010. At the beginning of each new month I like to set new intentions that I would like see manifest in my life. Whether it be in business, relationships, or spiritual, I make an effort at the start of each month, to clearly write out what I would like to see take place during that month.

An example of an intention that I write out at the beginning of the month is something as simple as the following.

“For the month of March 2010 I intend to provide only the best positive tangiable value to my blog readers and attract $300 in passive residual income for the greater good of all concerned.”

I write out this intention and store it away in my notebook.

February 2010: Short Recap

It seems like last month went by very fast. February 2010 proved to be a busy and productive time for me. At the beginning of last month I set the intention to collaborate more with other amazing personal development/Self help bloggers.

In the month of February 2010, I was blessed to be featured on two blog sites that are doing very well for themselves respectively.
Also I had a wonderful feature article guest post from my friend Therese Miu.

The first site I was apart of was from my last article about the Law of Attraction which featured in Armen’s timeless blog celebrating his 200th blog post! You can read this post here: Timeless Information

The second site I was featured in was from displaying my wealth vision board that Evelyn Lim inspired me to create to bring in the New Chinese Year. You can read this post here: Abundance Tapestry

Third, the wonderful and insightful guest post with Therese Miu can be found on my blog here.

A New Month, A New Canvas

The start of each month for me is like a brand new canvas. Life is our canvas and we can create what we choose by our intentions.

What is it that you want to create this month? Do you intend to develop better relationships with your family? Make extra income? Realize that you are really the creator of your reality. What you choose to focus on expands. What I urge people to do, is really take a look at where they are currently at in their life and accept it. But know, that if you want things to improve and opportunities to manifest it begins with your thoughts which lead to inspired actions.

As you start this month, make it clear to the universe what it is you intend to create. Write it out and visualize it and feel it as though what you desire is already happening. Then go into inspired action and trust that you are being guided. You can have and be what you want, we are all energy beings. It is our vibrational energy that attracts the things we want into our lives. When you are positive about what you expect to receive you will receive it. Understand your own flow. There are also moments when you should completely dethatch from the outcome, but that comes from experience and self awareness and timing. The important thing here to remember is that if you choose, look at the start of this month with clear intentions of what you want to manifest. Be open and receptive to what comes your way.

Let’s set some new intentions for this new month. :)

Creating my reality,

The 5 Things I Appreciate About Arizona

delicous The 5 Things I Appreciate About Arizona

gogetem1 300x199 The 5 Things I Appreciate About Arizona

“The roots of all goodness lie in the soil of appreciation for goodness.”
-Dalai Lama

Hello all.

Although, I don’t call Arizona “home,” I will tell you the top 5 things I appreciate about this state from the perspective of a Californian, living here for 5 months now. Although there are more than 5 things I appreciate about this state, I will mention here only the top 5.

The 5 Things I appreciate about Arizona

1. Little to No Traffic on Freeways. Since I’ve been in Arizona, I can only remember being stuck in traffic a total of 2 times on the freeway. Even at that that traffic wasn’t heavy traffic.
I really like wide lanes on the freeway, and getting to where I need to go on time. I haven’t been late to anything yet, because there really is no reason to be late, with the clear freeways.

2. Small Town. I am coming from Riverside CA. Riverside is a small town (Although it is becoming a big city now). While I was living in Riverside, many people that I knew (especially from the big cities) didn’t know that I appreciated very much that it was a small town. I just can’t “hang” in the big cities anymore. There is nothing for me to prove in those streets at this stage of my personal development. A lot of people don’t understand in my early teen years, I spent a lot of partying times in LA. I can say I passed that stage now. A small town gives me much more clarity in my day to day. I guess a small town is either a positive or negative thing depending on your goals at the moment and future.

3. Low Cost of Living. Arizona has a lower cost of living, than most states. Arizona current sales tax rate is 7.8%. Gas is also a lot cheaper here. It’s really simple here. There is no need to try very hard to maintain a nice and decent living here. I also find random killer deals on food here. It’s really nice.

4. The Sunsets. Most of the sunset views here in Arizona are extraordinary. Many times there is a pink, purplish, hue to the sunsets. They usually come every other day. But when they come, it is really an amazing sight to see.

5. Peaceful. The state overall is very peaceful. There isn’t too much hype or loud noises here. This is a great place for people to get away for like a weekend. It just depends on what you want to do. At this stage of my life, I need that calm serene place.

The Learning Process
I’m learning so much in this state. I’m learning more about myself here because I now have the opportunity to kind of see things from a brand new perspective. It was great living in California. Yet, I never really felt I was growing at the rate that I’m growing at now at least spiritualy and creatively. The ironic thing is I’m learning so much more in a smaller city, than when I used to live close to LA. I guess it was easy for me to get lost in the shuffle of my own thoughts, with so much going on around me. Arizona is simple, and it really suites my state of mind as a creative individual at this stage in my life. I’m having a nice time here. But not in like the way you might imagine. I’m more on a higher level of self awareness that is making me grow in an upward direction, that I hope is being reflected in my writing.

Simplicity
This higher self awareness, I speak of isn’t something extraordinary or special, it is very simple indeed. This level I choose to operate from is very natural and feels more like me being in tune with my true self, versus trying to chase an ego need. But some may argue, “You call yourself the “Baker” because you make a lot of dough, is that not an ego need?” Yes, I call myself the Baker because I make a lot of dough, but I decided to go with a nick name that would appeal to the younger generation. A younger generation that may be focused soely on material pursuits at first and then realizing there is a whole other world that goes beyond the desire of material wealth. Many of my readers know that my intentions for this blog are all about inspiration, positive energy, and living your dream. The material accumulation is a bi-product of my overall mission with this blog. So broken down, it’s an ideal with a greater rooted cause.

To me Arizona, is a place at the moment, that allows me space to create to clear my thoughts and work on my own personal development at my own pace. I mentioned above the 5 things I enjoyed about Arizona, however at the end of the day, I just appreciate Arizona for it’s simplicity.

Also, below I’ve included a short video with my Arizona experience filled with inspirational Baker quotes from this blog for your enjoyment. :)

Clearer Communication With Mama Baker

me and mom Clearer Communication With Mama Baker

Hello all.
In a life filled with beyond success, it is easy to assume that there are shortcuts on this route. The truth is there are no shortcuts. You have to really stay focused in order to maintain this lifestyle of beyond success. Many have asked me if I consider myself a quick fix type of guru. First of all, I do not consider myself a guru by any means. Secondly, there is no such thing as a quick fix. Any worthwhile goal, intention or whatever you want to call it has it’s own journey. This journey will be filled with ups and downs, it will have it’s share of sometimes overwhelming obstacles. There will be moments of the need for battle, and retreat. But that is the beauty of it all. If you can see the beauty in the midst of the struggle and challenge, you will have come to a place of self actualization. This self actualization is not something that is far out there that only a select few reach. It comes from tuning into who you really are, and facing challenges head on because in doing so you become a better person as a result, filled with authentic experiences and life lessons that allow you to teach others along the way.

Open Communication With My Family While Pursuing My Own Dream

One of the challenges I am currently witnessing in my personal life, is finding a good balance between family and my brand. I am passionate about Baker The Brand, and I also have a family in California that loves and supports me. Finding time to give them a call and tell my mom that I’m eating regularly and dong fine, seems to be a challenge for me. It will begin with open communication and honesty. Calling my mother from time to time, that I’m eating regularly at the age of 25 sounds a bit strange to most people. But that’s the relationship me and my mom have at the moment. My mom doesn’t care how much passive income I make, or how many readers are inspired by my blog post. All she cares about for me is that I’m eating regularly and I’m healthy. So the challenge for me is not to eat regularly (which I’m doing) rather, to communicate to my mother over the phone, that I am eating regularly and I am taking my vitamins, exercising every other day and I’m in good health. Something so small to me, means the world to my mother. So in working on my communication with my mother on something as small as calling in to tell her I’m healthy, makes a big difference in her world. It’s all a matter of me accepting the fact that she is a mother that cares about her son. When I accept this a weight is lifted off my shoulders and her shoulders. We come to a mother son agreement that is successful.

Clearer Communication
I realize that as soon as I got to Arizona that I have slowly neglected this part of my life. Since there are no shortcuts to a beyond successful life, I am aware that I have to make an honest effort to not shortcut an open communication with my mother, as I move along in my own personal development, and upwards success of my brand. If you are in your mid to late 20’s you know how challenging it can be to be taking upward strides in your career or business and having to call a parent that you are healthy and eating regularly. It is all about open and honest communication. There are no shortcuts. In my sincere attempt to keep a balanced lifestyle, I know the road will have its ups and downs, but that’s what I signed up for when I came to this earth. Continue to join me in 2010 on my own personal development as I embark on this beyond successful lifestyle, filled with abundance, joy, personal growth and expansion.

Transcend: to rise above or go beyond the limits of : to triumph over the negative or restrictive aspects of : overcome : to be prior to, beyond, and above (the universe or material existence)

My 2009 Christmas Experience
Hello all. I just arrived back to Arizona from an eventful Christmas Holiday weekend in Southern California.
I had a nice Christmas holiday Season. My weekend consisted of meeting up with many old friends from the past and family. I wasn’t expecting see so many old friends and family this Christmas season, However it was a good time. I feel very blessed and amazed to see the growth and light in these people. Now it’s almost time for a brand new year. I am excited for what is to come.

2010 The Year to Transcend!

I have been writing about in my blogs, spoke about it in a radio show, and spoke about it briefly on a video, about this new shift in energy that is coming onto this planet. Although the date is not for certain of when the energy will come, I already feel that for me, the new energy is already here. I am seeing more people collaborate together and trusting their talents and providing positive value to others more so now, more than anytime in internet history. I am aware that I am one of a few other pioneers in this new Spiritual Revolution taking place. (At Least on written word) So the motto for me and all my readers will be “2010 The Year to Transcend.” This is the year that we all can move in upwards positive progression towards our wildest dreams! This is because the shift in conscious awareness and energy is here, and will gradually reach the hearts of countless individuals across the world. The intuitive ones feel it, the psychic/channelers know it, and I’m here to write about it, and document this new higher positive energy that is now on this planet for your benefit.

This is the year that the self aware individual won’t get caught up in setting traditional “goals” yet we set proper “intentions.” I understand that this concept of setting goals v.s intentions, may still be foreign to many people stuck in the old structure of setting goals, but my intention in 2010 is to show you via inspiring and empowering video and blogging that what I talk about is real in my personal life, and I’m living this in real time. I intend to go through 2010 manifesting with pure intention, versus trying to set “traditional goals.”

2010 is the year to transcend in all areas of your life. The new energy on the planet will help you out tremendously if you stay in alignment with this knowing and flow. Be in alignment with what brings you joy and excitement. This new energy will support those that understand the natural laws of the universe. Therefore, the law of karma and the law of attraction will continue to be in full effect during this new year.

2010 is the year to transcend into new higher levels of thought and a beyond successful way of living. This is the year to boldly let go of all the self limiting doubts, fears, and excuses you have held onto in the year 2009. This is the year to take that leap into higher levels of vibrational energy with confidence, joy, and trust. Whatever you feel is holding you back from your own personal development I suggest to completely let it all go, before entering this new year. Drop it off and trust that the new energy you are coming into will be a guided one. Believe in the unseen. 2010 is a time to accept the good, joy, positive relationships, prosperity, and beyond success that awaits you. Don’t focus to much time beating yourself up for all the mistakes and perceived failures of the past year, and look into this new year with positive energy and joy in manifesting your true desires with the new energy on this planet that is available for you. Leap into this new energy with faith and belief that this is your time! 2010 is the year to transcend!!!

With Loads of Positive Energy,

Opening Up To Constructive Criticism (Update)

su Opening Up To Constructive Criticism (Update)
delicous Opening Up To Constructive Criticism (Update)

grass3 Opening Up To Constructive Criticism (Update)

Hello all.
One of the major reasons I continue to steadily improve on this blog is because I am open to constructive criticism. Along with being open to constructive criticism, I make bold statements that I actually live in real life, and stand by. The beautiful balance of the two, both being open to constructive criticism, and being bold results in steady upwards improvement of my blog. I was having a great conversation with one of my best friends over the weekend, and we got to talking about my blog. We began discussing some of the things that are working and some of the things that need improvement. All I can really say is that I appreciate constructive criticism.

My natural personality initially tends to be very closed off to criticism, but when you know who you are talking to you would be foolish not to implement the minor tweaks that need to be made. One of the tweaks I will attempt to implement on this blog is to share more personal stories, and give you as the reader more of where I come from, who I am, and where I am headed on my own personal development journey.
This will be a gradual process, as my success from this blog comes from my own timing and natural instincts of when and how many times to post and what topics to keep the momentum and energy moving upwards. My creative process with this blog is highly intuitive, which works out well for me.

Putting more of my personal journey won’t be a dramatic change to the blog, as some of my much older posts actually take this more personal approach in to account. However, I’ll make an honest effort of tying in more of my own personal personal development journey into these posts with the intention of connecting more with my readers.

Below I’ve included 3 steps on how to Open up to Constructive Criticism:

1. Humility- Whatever project you are working on, always know that there are always ways to improve your project. Be humble, and know that there are people that can really make a big difference by assisting you, a lot of times it is just minor tweaks that make a big difference. Be humble and learn from people that know what they are talking about. Without humility you may think everything is going well, when in reality you might be missing something. Be a curious student.

2. Experiment- Begin to apply and try out the constructive criticism given to you. Try it and see if it works. If it doesn’t than that fine. Just be willing to make changes if indeed that is what you need work on. It is a learning process that continues, be patient with your self and learn from your mistakes by experimenting.

3. Use Your Intuition- If you are like me, and you are very independent thinker and have had success by doing things your way, I urge you to seek constructive criticism and at the same time use your own intuition. Is this critique being offered to you, something that you feel can work for you? Only you would really know. Your inner voice at the end of the day overrides any critique you receive, so balance out both what is being offered to you with your own intuition and this will result to greater improvements for you in your project. The truth is, learning to trust your intuition develops your self awareness.

Peace,

mirror What I Need To Improve On & What Is Working In My Blog

“A man can never hope to be more than he is if he is not first honest about what he isn’t.”
-Don Williams Jr.

Hello all.

My beyond successful life has to do with the fact that I’m aware of what I need to improve on with my blog. This awareness of what needs improvement helps me become better. You can go around and ask many different opinions from others about what you need to improve on, but in reality you already know what needs work. I am honest with where my talents and weaknesses lie.

Below are the the things I believe I need to improve on, and putting it out there will allow me to be more accountable for my own personal development. With this honest self-evaluation, I intend that my readers get a sense of where I’m in my own personal journey at the moment.

What I need To Improve On

1. Be a better teammate. I know that there are so many times, where I feel I can do it all myself. The truth is I can’t do it all myself. One of the reasons, I have this belief I can do it all myself, is because I’ve seen success when I’ve done it alone. But I am sensitive to the fact, that I need to be a better teammate if I ever want to be in a position to impact the lives of a wider audience.

2. Learning how to say no. It may seem strange, but I know that I have a hard time saying “no.” But I have to realize that when something doesn’t feel right for me, I have to say no. I get myself in trouble when I commit to too many projects that keeps me saying “yes” to a projects that, I realistically don’t have time for.

3. Stop hiding. I consider myself a pretty private person. I like my space. I honor my freedom. But I realize in order to get to where I really want to go and have my visions complete, I need to be more open with others in a manner that allows them to enter my space so we can create together. This also goes back to being a better teammate.

4. Fear of Being Misunderstood. I understand that many of the topics I present on these blogs, and my videos for a majority of the people can be misinterpreted or misunderstood. I believe that I must get this block, and say what I really want to say, without fear that people will not “get it.” I an sensitive to the fact that some of the ideas I express on here, may be too ahead of it’s time. To improve this I just need to keep writing, and clearly stating my points the best way I can at the moment.

What Is Working For Me

1. My writing. I believe my writing is getting better, and I enjoy the process of writing. My writing has improved significantly since I first began blogging 2 years ago. A lot of it has to do with my persistence, to just continue to write every single day as a habit to continue to improve. I am satisfied and confident with my style of writing.

2. My authenticity. The posts you read come straight from my heart, and from my experiences. I appreciate when people feel the authenticity in my writing, and can feel my passion through the words I type on this blog. If I’m starting a blog post on any given, topic I feel the need to always make sure it’s got my personal stamp of approval first. I don’t like to read phony or fake material online, so I make a sincere effort to keep my creative work authentic and real to me first, so in turn it will be felt as authentic and real to my readers.

3. My Creativity. I am aware of the degree of creativity I display on here, and I have a lot of fun and joy knowing that my creativity is where it needs to be at this point. I feel blessed to also be around creative people, that help me in my creativity, this allows me to come up with new ideas that I feel confident with putting together.

4. My readers. I am very happy to see readers come on here and get positive value from these blogs. So I’m happy to say that I get a gradual increase every month on my blog views, which means that the 3 thing listed above that are working for me, and continue to work for me. I am grateful for all my readers. I’m doing something right if my views increase every month.

Lastly, I just want to state that as I move along with this blog, I continue to be open for improvements and better efficient ways to get my message across to people. I am aware that this journey of blogging will have it’s ups and downs, but the process at the end of the day will be well worth it. I love blogging, and will be here for as long as my passion is in it.

Hello all.
Many people enjoy the pictures that I have above my blog posts. The majority of the pictures I post are carefully selected pictures I get from google images. I try my best to contact each photo and ask approval from the source when I can. Some of the other pictures you see of were taken by my sister Kimbundance. The picture above is from my sister Kimbundance. You can check out her amazing photography work HERE.

“A picture is worth a thousand words.”
-Napoleon Bonaparte

There is a little story that goes behind the pictures I’ve posted on my blogs.
This entire summer has been remarkable. This summer, I’ve been fortunate enough to have done a lot of traveling relatively close to California. This summer I’ve been lucky enough to travel to different parts of Arizona, Lake Tahoe, San Diego, and some really nice Orange County beaches such as Newport and Laguna Beach. While I was traveling, little did I know the pictures that I’ve carefully selected and admired that I had just grabbed from Google Images have began appearing to me in real life.

It was pretty amazing watching the whole thing unfold. I would be say in Arizona, visiting the Grand Canyon, and actually be standing right in front of the wonderful sight in real life, only to realize about 7-10 blog posts before, I had the exact same picture in one of my blog posts. This has happened in numerous occasions.
Life really does imitate art, and art imitates life…
